Before arriving, I read reviews of this hotel. Many 1 star ratings with confusing reviews. When we arrived, the reception area is beautiful with a gorgeous view of the sea. There is also a bar and restaurant downstairs. We were on the second floor and there were stains on the carpet in the hallway, but that didn’t affect my hotel room. We walked in the hotel room and it was clean, brand new and spacious. The bathroom was so clean and big. The only criticism of the bathroom is that it doesn’t have an electrical outlet. The room had lots of storage and was well planned. The hotel is about 20 minutes from old town Split so we ate dinner in the hotel. We also had breakfast there. The food was great! Don’t be scared off from the one star reviews!
A lovely stay in Briig hotel. A perfect location by a local beach with easy access to the port and town in under ten minutes by foot.
Very spacious rooms with a super comfy XL bed and updated designer toiletries in the bathroom along with the amazing shower.
A small but functional rooftop pool and sun deck and lovely garden to have breakfast and drinks.
As a designer hotel it might be even better if it were adult only…but I appreciate that is highly subjective.
It’s not a big hotel, located in old town centre. Easy access to all main sightseeing spots. Only around 10-12 minutes walk from bus terminal. Lift was available in hotel. Thus, it’s not a problem to move our luggages up to room. Room was surprisingly very spacious and comfortable. We stayed at room 201 which facing to the street/square. The sound proof window blocked all noises from street. However, the door side wasn’t. We were disturbed by people talked outside the room every night. Bathroom though it’s small, the shower was good. Security was good as the door was a 4-locks door. Breakfast included. It’s so so with basic items. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here.
Small little hotel with perfect location right at the esplanade of Split. Plenty of restaurants and shops downstairs. Breakfast is very simple and small serve in size and may not be enough for normal adults

The Room was incredibly beautiful, clean and had design elements from the 13th century. The staff was wonderful helped with dinner reservations and quit a few recommendations for dinner , all were very good ! Super friendly staff . There is no elevator, a staff member met us at parking garage to help with our luggage, he was great , loves to talk about American films and music ! Be aware that you are right around the corner from a major square so you may hear some evening noise and the garbage /delivery trucks in the morning.
We started and ended our vacation here at House Sandra. Marko was responsive in our communications before and during our stay. We opted to have him pick us up after our long travel day, and he was friendly and helpful, giving us tips and lots of info. Great host – as well as his father, who met us on our 2nd stay. The upstairs suite was clean, bright, and spacious, and had everything we needed. It was nice to have a sofa and an area to fix coffee or snacks (dishes, utensils, tea kettle, coffee/tea provided). On our 2nd visit, only a small guest room was available on the ground floor. We could hear cars/people outside, as the window is right by the driveway, or sometimes the guests above, but it wasn’t bothersome at all. I was impressed with how much use they made in the smaller space – you still had a desk, coffee/tea service, dishes/utensils tucked in a drawer, etc. We’d stay here again, as the hosts were great to work with, and the location of the property is very convenient. You can walk to the harbor to pick up a ferry, go to the stop to take the airport bus, head over to Diocletian’s Palace and the Riva, etc.
NN cThis hotel is fantastic. Other than being right in the heart of the old town, a few metres away from anything you need, it is quiet, classy and clean. What makes it stand out though are the staff. We'd made an error - that could have ended terribly for us as a family on the last day of our holiday - and turned up in desperate need of some human thoughtfulness, and they were utterly brilliant. Calmly, they sorted our problem without asking any questions or making us feel awkward. The professionalism and standard of service is the best I have received in any 4 star hotel in Europe in a long, long time. Other than it being a great location, lovely brekkie etc, it is its staff that make the hotel so great.
ผผู้เข้าพักWe stayed for a week in early October, and had a great time. First of all, the reception staff were really good - friendly, helpful, seemed genuinely interested in what we were doing, and if they could help etc. Excellent. We were on floor 3 (room 2) which meant we had a great view over the roofs with the sea in the distance. The balcony was small but big enough for a couple of seats and a table, and it had the sun from dawn until dusk. The room itself was nice - really large bed, and as it was a fairly big room, plenty of space for two people to walk around and not get in each others way! Fridge and safe were both included at no extra charge. Breakfast was nice - plenty to fill us up and serving until 11am meant there was no rush. Location wise, we found it ideal. Being in the old city would be nice, but this is only a short walk away (20 mins?) and could be either along the beach (paved path the whole way) or was a simple straight road down through the town. We did get a few Ubers which cost 5.50 each way. We're happy as long as we're in easy reach of the action. The beaches are a 5-10 minutes walk - depending on your preference for sand/pebbles/rocks, you can just walk along the path until you find a spot you like as there's a bit of everything. Shops and bars along the seafront too, so that's good if you need anything. The swimming pool area was quiet and relaxing - plenty of sun during the day, and although the pool itself was cold, it was really nice once you're in! Although it's only a few minutes walk to quite lively shops/cafes/bars, the hotel was just off a quiet street and felt really calm considering how close everything was. Overall we were really pleased with our choice, no complaints at all (we did have a noisy air con unit outside on the wall, but this was sorted the same day as we mentioned it - again, great work from the staff!) If we find ourselves in Split again, then I would be more than happy to stay here!
ผผู้เข้าพักNo safe, had to request No coffee machine in room but had the instructions-funnily enough our friends in another room got the machine but no instructions and they had no idea it was a coffee machine (no coffee pods) Spa bath didn’t work Hair dryer and telephone both had frayed cords (very dangerous). Asked for iron-they don’t have. Door between bedroom and bathroom is see through-Should have been glazed like our friends room had. Rooftop jacuzzi & bar not open as they said it not the time of the year (hello!!! It’s spring and a jacuzzi is perfect at this time!
