ผผู้เข้าพักBeautiful room with an amazing view. Breakfast was incredible. Service was immaculate! Only thing that let us down was the lift situation as after breakfast we waiting 25 minutes to get the lift back to the room. When we went to check out we waited 15 minutes and then decided to go down the stairs from the 9th floor as we were worried about missing checkout. Need more and bigger lifts. Or. Just maybe a life for the housekeeping team.
All in all it was still amazing and we hope to stay again soon
OOluwakemiVery close to the city center, Good locations to places around southampton
Restaurant staff were exceptional assisted with the birthday suprise made it memorable, food was great. Staff were all professional
Overall a great place to Stay and worth the money
ผผู้เข้าพักNice hotel rooms are okay too. Not overpriced IMO.
TV in the room was larger than your average hotel room TV. Wi-Fi reliable and fast enough. Clean and comfortable. Great selection of drinks at the bar. Checkin time seems a little bit later than most hotels along with the checkout time of 10am. So that should be revised to make it more appealing.
SSimonConsider this as the budget option within the hotel group, always keeping in mind the affordability you opted for. Despite its ultra-budget features like capsule bedrooms, sp**** plugs, and basic amenities, it could be a great fit for families or younger travelers. Let's focus on the positive aspects like the reliable Travelodgeesque branding and services, even though it falls slightly short in some areas like paper cups or rental kettles. Just remind yourself that you got a good deal on this stay, so there's plenty to appreciate here!
ผผู้เข้าพักThe hotel is in a great, quiet location and it is a very beautiful building. The room was clean and pleasant, but it wasn't quite what I expected. Through Trip I thought I had booked one room up from the smallest option, but alas turns out I had not! The bed was also advertised as a standard double, it definitely is not in the smaller rooms, it is a small double, and this made sleeping for two a little uncomfortable. The room was also very hot even though we turned the radiator off and had the window open all night but I think this is just due to it being an older building, heat rises etc. The pool room really needs TLC. It is very overlooked and we felt really lets the hotel down. It's shame as it's a lovely space - even a quick lick of paint would bring it back to life if money doesn't allow for larger maintenance. Staff were all very friendly, especially the two we were served by in the restaurant for dinner. The food was okay but a little over priced but the service made up for that. All in all for a quick overnight stop it was fine.
