Perfect location location location if you’re going there for a luxury resort, keep looking if you’re going there for to have fun outside the room this is a place to be it’s a little dated a little worn out. It’s a little facelift but you get your moneys worth front desk very accommodating. Have a great time.

This is what you'd expect for the cheaper rooms available in downtown Tahoe, First of all every photo except of the spring time landscapes is not accurate, '' Spa"?!?! You mean a small 3 person hot tub that you cannot comfortably sit in! The pay by hour ambiance was accentuated by holes in the wall were someone added there big man energy stamp, the don't steal or take down our smoke alarm fastened by a bracket was a nice installation, the used conditioner bottled really added a sense of connection to the other guests, as well as the remnants of hair left in the toilet. So let's wind down and turn on the television, well you better have brought a user's manual because the remote wasn't synced and that's a fun time for someone who doesn't mind a diy instead of interrupting the the on site tenants at 10pm, or you can just lay there and listen and feel left out from all the fun times at Basecamp next door. You can expect to wake up at any time to the foot traffic along the walkways and rooms above. Overall, don't expect more than what your paying for, shelter, hot water, what I hope is clean linen, and a quick walk to the heavenly village and surrounding shops and restaurants. Pretty much paying for a place you don't want to more than laying your head down after a long day at the mountain. Good luck!

Alpine Inn was great. Service was top notch. The place was clean. They kept the hot tub open in a blizzard. The tv, microwave and refrigerator all worked fine.

Very unmaintained hotel. Room was dirty and falling apart. Loud heater that barely worked.

Convenience. Harrahs is just a 5 minute walk away. Heater works well. Good Value Price wise. Fast Check In.

Poorly cleaned, looked like managements entire family lived on the small property. 1st room was inexcusably dirty with visible signs from previous guests including dirty socks and hair absolutely everywhere. The second and third rooms offered as replacements were no better and no other compensation was offered.

This place is awful. We spent over $300 a night for a run down, dirty and just plane disgusting room. Floors were dirty with debris and hair, heater didn’t work, sink was about to detach from the wall, shower door didn’t close and had a sharp area on the frame. Small dingy towels, grounds were not kept up. So disappointed.

We have stayed here before and had a pleasant stay. When we searched for a place to stay again… this was our preferred spot. We liked opening the window or door and have a fresh snow view and experience the falling snow. They have a hot tub that we enjoy relaxing after a day of adventures. It’s close by to casinos, restaurants, and more.

The bed was super comfortable, the room was really small but very clean. The shower was a disaster. The water pressure was like 5% of what a normal shower head is and the water was scolding hot. Whether you turned it to hot or cold it was too hot.

If you're looking for a clean wallet-friendly place to stay, the Alpine Inn fits the bill. This is one of many motels in the area that were built decades ago. Some upgrading but still the same budget motel room. Clean and efficient. If you need a room to sleep after doing anything in So. Lake Tahoe and/or Stateline, this would be a great place that leaves you with more money in your pocket. The Alpine Inn sits next to another motel, Basecamp, that has had extensive remodeling, and has a brewpub with outside seating, so if you want to grab a beer and some grub, you're literally are right next store.

Overall good place, close to Lake Tahoe Shopping center& Restaurants, staff are polite. Some rooms need renewal.

I like the near by walking distance to ****** less than 3 minutes. I love how the room have a fridge and microwave in the room. I dislike how the pool is not working and the blankets had holes in it and I found multiple hairs between the bed sheet and blanket.

Great location. Close to ******. Get a fair amount for the cost.

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! 1/2 block to Harvey’s. Super convenient! Really nice staff! Super old and run down. Jetted tub was awesome. I always clean the bathtubs with my own bleach just in case. Other than that the place was Very clean. Just old needs a major update. I would stay there again just for the price and location.
