The Windsor Hotel ★★★★

"My only complaints are that there was only 1 electricity outlet in the entire room so we had to take turns charging our phones and there was also no sound proofing so as a result we would go to sleep very late and wake up very early from the noises. Also the room service people would come in our room without asking or after 1 knock and one time we happened to be inside when they opened the door with their own key. Cleanliness was good we didn't have any problem with the towels or the bed sheets and the bathroom was also kept clean. The staff were helpful and we were also able to leave our suitcases there as our flight was much later from the 11.00 check out time and we didn't want to carry them around for all those hours. Would recommend for a short stay but be prepared to have a power strip and an adapter for your chargers and don't expect quiet time there 😄"

The Londoner Hotel St. Julian's ★★★

"If you like low-class partying and an unsafe area at Ballermann, this is the place for you!! The hotel is new, in good and clean condition, the staff very nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet was varied and fresh. Unfortunately, the hotel is not as described, with a great rooftop pool and a relaxation area. To park and swim, you have to leave the hotel and ring the bell 2 buildings further on, then you can go to the pool or the underground car park. The pool area is freely accessible to everyone, not just hotel guests, the clientele is borderline and not suitable for relaxing. The location is appalling, as the hotel is right next to the clubs and diagonally opposite a ********. Accordingly, at dusk the streets are flooded with partygoers, drunks and ****************, as a woman you are constantly being harassed and have to hope that you get the few meters to the hotel safely. After discussing it with the hotel manager, we agreed to a discount because the hotel description was incorrect. He was very insightful and helpful, but here too I have to say that the discount ultimately neither covers a night in the hotel nor compensates for the additional effort. So not satisfactory! All in all, we wouldn't come again! --- If you're looking to party at a low level like at Ballermann and don't mind an unsafe area, this is the place for you! To park and use the pool, you have to leave the hotel, ring a bell two buildings down, and then you can access the pool or the underground garage. The pool area is open to everyone, not just hotel guests, which means the clientele is questionable and not suitable for relaxation. The location is shocking, as the hotel is right next to clubs and across from a *******. Consequently, the streets are flooded with partying, drunken, and ************* individuals at dusk. As a woman, you’re constantly harassed and just have to hope to make it the few meters back to the hotel safely. After discussing with the hotel manager, we reached an agreement on a discount due to the misleading hotel description. He was very understanding and helpful, but I must say that the discount ultimately doesn’t cover even one night in the hotel or compensate for the extra hassle. So, we are not satisfied! Overall, we wouldn't come back!"

"I stayed at this hotel for 5 days. The very welcoming staff immediately asked for a €100 deposit (a bit too much for my taste), but despite that, we had a great time. The hotel is located just steps from Sliema and the bus stops. The hotel has a beautiful rooftop pool! But it's a bit small. Despite this, the rooms are cleaned every day and are very spacious! I highly recommend it!"
