Leda Beach Hotel

I guess because of time of year not everything was open.

You get what you pay for. The rooms in the oldest buildings are really worn out and the quality of construction wasn’t the best to begin with. The bathroom windows don’t have glass, just a wooden grating so the temperature in the wintertime inside rooms is more or less the same as outside, might get chilly during nights. I had some small ants invade my room and had to shake them off my bedsheets before going to sleep. Some other quests reported leaks during heavy rain. Some of the buildings need reparation work done asap. The breakfast is good for the price. However some of the restaurant’s waiters were rude to my face for reasons I don’t know. Maybe I ate a bit much in their opinion, who knows. It’s unacceptable anyways. In hospitality you don’t have to like your customers, but you should be professional. Otherwise you’re in the wrong job. There are some other people in the staff that are great. The location is perfect if you want to see the antique Side and it’s ruins. It’s also right on the beach.

For the price i didn’t expect a 5 star hotel but i also didn’t expect ants to be everywhere, be welcomed by cat poo in the toilet and cats coming into my room as they please. The staff was lovely however, it was not the cleanest hotel whatsoever, breakfast wasnt bad but not too many options and being expected to pay €45 for heating which should already be included is a joke when all you have to cover yourself with is a thin sheet and some dusty blankets in the closet. If you’re looking for a quiet stay this place should be good, the area is very quiet but the walls are so thing you can literally hear people sneeze from the room next door. In addition to this, the tour guide this hotel provides is an absolute scam, at first i thought i was getting a bargain (£100 for an activity for two people) he told us it was cheaper since it was out of season but later on i came to find out that during season may-sep or whatever it may be my friend paid £25 each for the same activities so watch out, we were also promised water fights during our jeep ride which never happened so not too great.

Would advise you read as it may ruin your holiday if you don't,don't believe any of the photos you have seen as they do not represent what you are actually walking in to,the place is worse than a run down butlins camp from the sixties,there are no amenities in your rooms such as a kettle which is a basic worldwide,the rooms are dirty and the cleaning staff will only supply toilet rolls,and towels when prompted,the hot water can come on anytime of the day but strangely not first thing when you want a shower,breakfast is just awful,you are lucky to get anything that isn't a egg,not a sign of a sausage or beans or a change of food it's repetitive everyday,everything you ask for comes at a price WiFi, air-conditioning, orange juice at breakfast,even a upgrade to a different room which is no different to where you were staying,if you have a disability walking or in a wheelchair you will have major problems as the is NO LIFT but they say there is,the steps are very steep and when wet very dangerous even to the good walker's, so please if you have taken the time to read this then beware of what awaits you,and I have no axe to grind just being truthful
