"everything was super fuss-free, from check in to check out. the staff are super friendly and it’s super convenient to get to tsugaike. only gripe is the room can be a little cold on chilly nights."

"Great place to stay right on a ski run with ski in facilities.. It’s also quite close to bars and restaurants. The only issue is the hotel advertises that all rooms have bathrooms - but that is not the case. A number of rooms don’t have a bath or a shower! We didn’t have one which came a real surprise and had to book a private bathroom three floors down for each morning. If you stay at this hotel make sure you book a room with a shower! In this day and age not having a shower in all rooms is really not three or even two star accommodation."

"Stayed here for 7 nights. Last minute booking. Pleasantly surprised. Within 3 min walk to Tsugaike ski slopes. Rooms are clean. Cleaning provided on request. Staff polite and respond to questions and try to find answers if they don't know. English speaking staff available on a roster who did help facilitate requests in English. Asked for a sofa bed to be removed and replace with table and chairs. It was done promptly. Thanks to Agnes (I think that was her name). Rooms are not large, but didn't expect this in Japan especially so close to ski slopes. Location within walking distance to several ski rental shops and restaurants. Within 2-3 min to the bus stop that takes you to other ski resorts, from the frying room and ski storage room. Facilities to store skis and boots with easy access and exit to the ski slopes and to the bus. Hillside rentals just in the same building via the games/arcade, gives a 20% discount. A guy, called Jamie was very helpful with advise on skis. We did not eat here nor used the onsen, so cannot comment on that. The hotel accepts delivery of skis ahead of your arrival and also facilitates delivery of your skis to airport or your next destination, at your own cost, of course. This hotel seems designed for convenience of those who have come here to ski. Clean, minimalist, decent service on request, and convenient location. Will come back."
