"This is the only hotel in Chaozhou that belongs to an international chain so it has all the usual amenities you would expect of a business-class international hotel. The hotel is located outside the old city of Chaozhou. If you are in Chaozhou on holiday, chances are you will be spending most of your time in the old city - you can either take a nice long walk across Guangji Bridge (which you need to pay 20 RMB to cross), or you can call a Didi to the entrance of Paifang Steet (which will cost you less than 10 RMB).
Arguably, the hotels inside the old city may be more atmospheric, but I like the fact that a Didi can drive right up to the hotel driveway to pick me up or drop me off. Many of the hotels inside the old city are in the alleyways where cars cannot venture into, so you have to walk out (or take a golf buggy car) to one of the bigger roads to get a Didi.
Room is bright and spacious and clean. Service is as expected of an international hotel. The concierge is helpful with suggestions and advice. All in all, a very good place to stay when visiting Chaozhou."
