WelcomHeritage Mount Valley Resort Ranthambore

We recently hosted a wedding at Mount Valley, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional! From start to finish, everything was perfectly managed, making our special day truly magical. The location was breathtaking—whether it was the stunning backdrop for our ceremony or the beautifully maintained grounds, every spot was picture-perfect. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly. They were incredibly helpful, attentive, and supportive, making sure every little detail was taken care of with professionalism and warmth. The services were top-notch, from seamless event coordination to impeccable hospitality. The food was simply amazing—every dish was delicious and beautifully presented, leaving our guests raving about the dining experience. A huge thank you to the entire team at Mount Valley for making this wedding an unforgettable celebration! I stayed in hotel Mount Valley with my family in the first week of January. It is a good property. The check in progress was not up to mark. Out of the two deluxe rooms booked one was room was given to us @ 2 pm instead of 12 pm. We made booking 3 months in advance and asked to book room on the third floor for better view but still they provided us rooms on ground floor which was not expected from them. Size of the rooms is good. Restaurant is very good food served is also very good. I would also like to appreciate the restaurant manager Mr. Kapil Pandey. He personally comes to every table to ask if anything else is needed. They hv carrom board and chess for recreation but some more game items needs to be added. Housekeeping service is very slow which needs improvement. Overall it is a good property.

Overall: Good value for money at this price point considering other options & tourist season. Food: Reasonably good taste with Rajasthan flavour. The spread can be increased considering the Welcome Heritage branding. Rooms/Cleaning/Service: Rooms are of good size, reasonably clean, bedsheets etc are clean, service response good, staff courteous, In my view, the mattresses are too cushy & possibly needs replacement as the person sunks while getting up from bed. Though hotel is old but most things repaired/rennovated to keep it fresh. Overall recommended but they still needs to catch up to match Welcome Heritage brand...

Plz don’t get fooled by the WelcomHeritage tag. It’s just a 2-3 star hotel . First thing they will ask you at the reception is the pending amount. Full all the amount in advance then only they will show you the room The room size is adequate but cleanliness is lacking. Washrooms are also not v clean. In the name of toiletries you don’t even get a dental it shaving kit. There are no views from the hotel and it’s pretty much out of the city so you always need a vehicle Food options are v limited though the staff in the dining area was polite but not professional. As far as safari is concerned we got our booking from hotel only and they booked us for zones where there are almost no sightings and charged double amount. And in the morning when we went to the reception they had no idea about our booking. Then they arranged us with some other canter after half an hour And in the noon when we were having a nap they started some repair work in near by rooms. On complaining they said that repair is necessary plz tolerate. Woww My sincere advice pls don’t choose this hotel nothing. They are just making fool in the name of WelcomHeritage

This service at this hotel does not live up to the reputation of Welcom Heritage. The staff at the front desk are not well trained. Ordered tea for room service because we did not want masala chai that was being served during high tea and also we were very tired after an 8 hour drive. The staff insisted sending the tea readily available for high tea and were very reluctant to make tea as per our specifications. The food at the hotel was below average, the dal had elaichi in it, the roti served was not fresh, cold and only when we insisted hot roti was served. The dessert was terrible, certainly not the kind of food we have experienced at other Welcom Heritage properties. Early morning we requested for drinking water for making tea using kettle, the staff made some incoherent noises but did not give us a bottle of water. We had to step out to the parking and get a bottle from our car. We checked out very early in the morning after settling all bills, however later in the afternoon we received a call from the front desk asking if we were yet to check out. An internal staff handover seems to have been missing.

We stayed for 5 nights at this hotel, took 5 morning safaris and got lucky with a tiger sighting, during December 2024. Hotel Manager Chandra Prakash does a wonderful job of ensuring clean rooms & toilets; hygienic restaurant (again run by great restaurant manager) and well trained front office staff, who are very helpful in coordinating with safari staff. Though the hotel premises were well maintained, adjacent plots visible from top floor room had some construction material strewn around, making it a bit of an eyesore. View from the top across the Ranthambore National Park wall was green and serene.
