On our way from Bangkok to UTapao Airport, less than 3 hours trip mostly on expressway we planned to stay overnight to be relaxed for our flight the next day somewhere near the Airport. We found this hotel on *********** and we were most pleasantly surprised. The Owner of the hotel (36 rooms?) welcomed us and checked us in. The hotel is a little off the main road but still easy access with the GPS help. The hotel is only 2 years old. The lobby is very welcoming with a range of snack foods drinks etc. available. The room was very clean, large, well appointed and with a small balcony for smokers. We had a very good night sleep. In the morning we had a small chat with the Owner who did the night duty, explained that he Owns this hotel with his daughter who graduated in Marketing. He used to work at the World famous Oriental hotel in Bangkok, hence the many excellent touches and amenities in this little gem of a hotel. Breakfast was equally good. Last but not least we would have happily paid a bit more for that quality of hotel. Thank you and all the best to you and your daughter! EB
