- superb location (walkable to many shops, malls etc)
- fantastic service (above and beyond what was expected. Staff took initiative to help foreigner like myself to set up WeChat pay etc…)
- room has balcony that has fantastic sea view
- room has a smart device (can ask system to turn on aircon, the weather etc..)
- electronic binds and curtains
- separate bath tub and shower
Negatives
- hotel showing signs of wear and tear
- a good local hotel (good for Chinese standard but may fall short of international tourist standard)
- no hair conditioner

Hotel is close to the beach, just cross the road. Room was clean and had all I needed. (Almost) no english speaking staff.

The location is excellent. Directly across the street from the beach. Near many restaurants. There is a night street market behind the property just a couple of blocks away. The building is a little dated, but it was clean. The beds were rock hard, which is normal in China, but hard to sleep at night because they were so hard. I only ate breakfast there, and it was very good.

Good location with Seaview and next to Sanya Beach. The morning breakfast is crowded and sometimes got to wait a while to obtain seat. The Food are typically local and lacks international food. There is language barrier for English at reception.

When we arrived for check in at 3:30, we were told the room was not ready and we had to come back an hour later. We were not offered anything as an apology. We booked a seaview room, but we had to pop our heads out of the balcony to actually see it.
The hotel is very clean although old, and there is loud music being played in the hallways. The pool was pretty but too cold to go for a swim. Would probably not stay there again.

The view is good, if you have a room on the top floor with the sea view. Initially I booked the city view, but the construction (which is next to the building) works even at night, so the receptionist advised to change the room. Although we heard the construction works during late hours, it was not so loud.
Aircon is a huge problem, with the minimum temperature it was not cooling enough.
Breakfast was good, good choice of food, drinks and goodies.

This is an old hotel that has undergone refurbishment of its rooms. It is located at an excellent location that faces the sea and is in the city centre. The only shortcomings are:
1. the hot water is lukewarm and not sufficiently hot for a hot shower, This shortcoming although is tolerable during warm weather will be intolerable during cooler weather; and
2. the air conditioning control in the room is adequate but the control panel was not functioning so it was not possible to adjust room temperature and wind strength.
Despite these shortcomings, the room price is definitely value for money.

Villa was not as seen in photos. Condition of the villa is not well maintained. Faulty shower in 2 rooms, no hot water in one room even after running water for 20 minutes. There was also no towels provided in another room. Overall cleanliness is not up to standard. Baby cockroach seen in bedroom.
Aircon is noisy and not cold despite setting to lowest temperature. It was not a pleasant stay and all 12 of us unanimously agree to checked out the next day even though we booked for 2 nights
