Since my one week stay in Oia with Amaya, I have been debating what my review would be. Here is where I weight out: 1. I would NOT stay at this brand / group again 2. It might be a risk if you manage to get 50% off the price as I did. But I would have been angry to have paid more 3. With the exception of the property manager, the onsite staff tried hard within the confines of what they had 4. At one point, these cave villas were probably as good as they could get. But with so much modernization, there are just too many better properties than these dated villas 5. The location is absolutely stunning. Getting the chance to stay in a MODERN white cave villa is like a bucket list item. So, here is the deal. I chose a week, in January – the VERY off season, because I wanted quiet and to return to Santorini. A big travel company offered this place at a very big discount. I jumped at the chance. What I experience, was a villa that was in a stunning location. And with a very stunning view. But the management of the villa. And the modernization of the villa is just not good enough anymore. WHAT I LIKED: - There was a attendant names “Vali” who was very helpful and responsive, despite the manager not being responsive. (Note to anyone staying here. You are SIXTY STEPS down the hill to your villa. You definitely need an attendant to help with luggage. Vali was marvelous. But if you have knew or other health problems, be aware that this is not an easy place to get up / down on. - The view was amazing. - But be aware that you are in the path at sunset to Sunset point. It becomes quite busy on your little path at that time - I am a cat lover. Be aware there are hundreds of cats near the villa. If you leave your doors or windows open – they do come in. Most are cautious. But you have to be comfortable with cats – or forever keep your windows doors closed. - The daily breakfast was marvelous. The person who cooked it and delivered it was attentive. She made generous breakfast that was delicious. The location, at the very near end of OIA was quiet WHAT I DID NOT LIKE: - The good news about booking in January is that 97% of the tourists have gone away. You really have the area to yourself. But – the flipside is that during this low season, there is a ton of renovation happening. In the day, when you want quiet and sunshine, you are getting drilling sounds. Hammering sounds. And a lot of local workers making improvements. You won’t get this in mid to high season – but this was not enjoyable. - The manager just was not professional. It began when a note was sent out, encouraging you to make a reservation with them for the transport from the airport. Ok. It sounded like a good idea. She promised a “reliable and very professional” service. For a price that I would learn is about double the price of others who will do the same on the island. I arrived to the airport. No sign. No transport. Everyone from the plane had left, and I was left. I eventually was able to reach

I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Exclusive Plan Suites. The staff were amazing and truly went out of their way to help us whenever we needed it, from check in, to advice on getting around, and everything in between. The caldera view from our room was breathtaking. The hot-tub was always a welcome sight after a long day of hill climbing and walking (take the hike to Oia if you get the chance!), and it was always warm. Breakfast was served every morning, and there was always more than enough to eat. Location-wise, this spot is pretty convenient. We were only about a 10-12 minute walk to the shops in Fira (with great views along the way), so we never felt like we were far from whatever we wanted to do, but Firostefani is much quieter than Fira so it was nice to get back to the room after a day out and have a relaxing evening looking out over the water and checking out the cruise ships. I'm not sure what is going on with the beds, but we woke up rested every day! Probably the best sleeps we've ever had on vacation.
We are so happy with had the opportunity to meet our Hostess Arestides he was above and beyond exceptional. He was helpful and he was able to get our transportation to the airport the correct time. Also, any restaurant reservation he was able to take care that for us and suggested great restaurant by the area by calling the restaurant I making sure we get a table with a nice view. He was very nice explaining everything to us when we arrive to the hotel and show us all the highlights of the island the best beaches and places to go. We felt safe and happy everything we will go to the front desk, and he was there to assist us. I can't thank you enough for all you time and hospitality. we are so happy we stayed there. The staff were so friendly, the rooms were immaculate. It was so peaceful and safe. I loved our pool right outside of our room 101, and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel is not too far from the center to Fira by walk about 7 minutes. Thank you again Arestides and the entire Staff.
Wow what an absolutely gem. Where do I start? There’s so many positive things to say I don’t know where to start. My husband booked this hotel at the last minute a couple days before departure. The hotel organised our pick up from the airport which was a stunning brand new Mercedes luxury mini bus which had enough glitz and and glam to satisfy the Kardashian’s! Once arriving at the hotel, the reception staff made us feel very welcomed with lots of information about the hotel and local area. To our surprise the hotel run a free service to and from Fira which is an added bonus as we knew we were a 30 minute walk away. Then we were taken to our room by a lovely man who carried out super heavy luggage down the steps to our room. Wow, the view was amazing. The room was spacious clean and fresh with a lovely bed bigger than two doubles pushed together. The bathroom had a rainfall shower with a handset built into an alcove which maybe tricky if your over 5’7! But don’t let that put you off, the views from every angle of the hotel more than make up for it. Breakfast was included which was simple but to a high standard nothing pre packed all fresh. The waiters were fantastic full of energy and knowledgeable. We booked our first evening meal at the hotel and the quality was amazing everything was done to a high standard. The only disappointment was we simply didn’t book longer. If your thinking of booking please do you won’t be disappointed. Thank you to all the staff that made our holiday a fantastic relaxing break 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We recently stayed at the Hermoso Luxury Suites in Santorini. In short, I really liked this small hotel. Our room was spacious and clean with a view of the ocean. Breakfast was included and served hot food, although it was the same each day. There was a nice pool to enjoy. Zach was very accommodating and very helpful. The hotel is close to the airport. On a plus, it makes getting around the island convenient because everything is accessible by car. Being close to the airport, you do hear the planes landing and taking off. It's not that frequent and it didn't bother us.
ผผู้เข้าพักA great way to start our Greek island trip with a three night stay here at Nissos Thira. The room is clean and comfortable, the shower was nice and hot. The pool was open and refreshing. We enjoyed lounging in the chairs in the sunshine. Breakfast every morning was delicious. Perfectly located only five minutes from the main bus terminal, and only five minutes from all the main streets, restaurants, and shops. The entire staff was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place.
ผผู้เข้าพักWe recently returned from our mini honeymoon stay at Caldera Cliff illusion which exceeded our expectations and more. We stayed in a junior cave suite which was clean, comfortable and elegant in style. The main selling point is the terrace which overlooks the caldera and comes with a hot tub, and sunbathing area. Pictures do not do the views justice - it is incredible!! The staff are also amazing. There’s a small team that work at the hotel who are all super friendly, incredibly attentive and helpful. Everyday breakfast would be delivered to our private terrace at our specified time. It was a large banquet - probably enough for 4-6 people and was always delicious. I cannot praise our stay at caldera cliff illusion enough. Highly recommend!!!
ผผู้เข้าพักThe staff were absolutely incredible! They were accommodating, attentive, and made sure that we had the best time in Santorini, which we did! The location is excellent if you don’t mind a 15 minute walk into Imerovigli as it’s just outside of that village. Perfect for couples! They also treated us to a surprise on my birthday, which was lovely added touch. The view of the sunset from our balcony was equally amazing. We would definitely stay again!
This hotel is located in Messaria, about 3.5 kilometers from Fira. You will therefore need some sort of transportation to Fira, where most upscale shops, restaurants and tourists attractions are. There's a bus stop outside the hotel if one chooses to take the bus to Fira. In Messaria, the hotel is in close proximity to restaurants, a supermarket, etc. My room was cozy, clean and comfortable, with all modern amenities and come with balcony overlooking the pool. Everything about the room is okay, except that the bathroom is small and cramped by anyone's standard. The hotel doesn't have an elevator and therefore might not be accessible to wheelchair bound guests. We had to carry our luggages up the stairs to our room on the second floor. Breakfast is available to guests every morning. The lady at the front desk was every helpful and attentive to our needs
ผผู้ใช้ไม่ระบุชื่อI like the place because it was more like a villa type. Only one floor and the door opens to an open space in front of the gate. It has seats outside that make you feel like it’s tropical. It is quiet in the area and it is close to the square. About 15 mins from the airport. Faster without traffic. Actually there was almost no traffic. There are many restaurants at the square like typical Greek restaurants, Turkish and even Chinese.
The owners are very accommodating. They offered me some coffee one morning. They gave me the information I needed to get around the place. They also fixed my heater while I was out. They arranged airport pick up and drop off for me even when I had to leave at 4:30 am. Well appreciated.
Downside: Just the floor is cold and they did not have any slippers available. I ran out of bottled water and it was not replaced. I could have asked but the reception closed a bit early so I did not bother. It was not a big deal though.
Thank you for the warm welcome! I would stay again if I’d come back.
ผผู้เข้าพักWe arrived earlier in the day & asked if we could do early check in. We were told that the room we have booked isn’t available early, so we could upgrade to another room & get early check in option. We agreed. When we checked in the room didn’t look like any upgrade, as it was pretty basic. Also, if these are how most of the rooms are, they aren’t great. The room had a stair to go ‘up’ where a tiny bed was places, and the ceiling was so low that even a 5-foot height tiny person like me would bump her head. The stairs aren’t too safe, so if you have to walk down in the middle of the night to use the bathroom below the bed area, you better be fully awake & cautious if your steps.
Shower didn’t work properly with hot/cold water. I couldn’t wash my hair, had to quickly get out of the shower.
I would have preferred, if they just told us there was an extra charge for early check in.
In case I’m wrong, and this room was indeed an ‘upgrade’ then I don’t know what the basic room will be. Can’t imagine what would be even lesser. Maybe no window / balcony.
The swimming pool was closed, probably because it was still cold when we went.
The property looks nice though, it’s just 10 mins taxi ride from the city square. The rooms have a balcony & peaceful view as there aren’t too many buildings around.
It’s quite & clean. Just that the rooms are too basic & the tiny bed in tiny space was uncomfortable for two people to sleep in. It was claustrophobic for me. Couldn’t sleep well, couldn’t bathe well. But I did enjoy sitting in the balcony & sipping my tea in peace.
ผผู้ใช้ไม่ระบุชื่อThe owner is a very nice and exceptionally warm Greek. We were invited to take some chocolates off the table to go when we arrived and when we left. The construction of the hotel is particularly lovely and the room we stayed in was at the highest point of this hotel, with a small balcony and a great view. This hotel also has a kitten that was particularly cute and clingy and I looked forward to seeing it every night when I returned to the hotel.
We had a great couple of days here!
