Leuk verblijf! Lieve mensen. Eigenlijk weinig op aan te merken. De eerste nacht was het erg warm. Het bed was lekker zacht. Douche was ook top! Het vooral het balkon was leuk

When we arrived we were greeted with the news that the restaurant was not open for lunch or dinner and it went downhill from there. I suspect they didn’t want to pay a cook for the only people dumb enough to stay here. We booked supposedly the nicest room a “suite with balcony” because it had aircon. The room was tiny, the bathroom was tiny and didn’t look clean. The towels look old, faded and not white like they should be. The bed was overly hard. The floorboards had huge gaps so the room was a bug magnet despite having the air-conditioning on full and covering ourselves in DEET. A colony of ants also took residence. We booked three nights and left after one, the loss of two nights rent was worth not having to stay longer. The reception was rarely manned although they were cheerful and polite. The dining area looked very uninviting. I’m trying to think of a positive. I guess the location is nice with the river below which was a place to cool off but that’s it. The hotel next door is much nicer and similarly priced (Costeño River) which serve decent food and drink and actually had some fellow travellers staying. Oh and the Wi-Fi rarely worked.

Breakfast was amazing . Elena is a beautiful person. Our cabin was comfortable, private . It had HOT WATER!! This is not ordinary here . Most place do not have hot water. The river below is wonderful. I would definitely return .

Great place, in short walking distance from the town. Superfriendly-staff, she helped with everything we needed.

It was a lovely placê but hard to get to for me. I am in my 80s and the steps were a challenge.

For positives, it is mostly very tranquil. We loved the view from our room and thought the breakfast and staff was really nice. I saw complaints about the juice but it is fresh without sugar added. It’s definitely not “bad.” You are about a 7 minute walk from the river and 15 minutes from the town. I don’t recommend for people with any kind of walking challenges as the walk would be very hard if possible at all. The downsides are that this is more of a glamping experience and less of a hotel experience. Things to be away of is the floor having huge gaps that expose you to the outdoors. We didn’t bring any food into our room and only ate in town, yet we were waking up with ants and other bugs in our bed and crawling on us. There is not hot water (which is a lot of places) but worst of all the shower is moldy and broken. We were only there for 3 days and I am thankful because the closest I got to a shower was swimming in the river every day. There was a day where you could smell sewage as well through the slats but it ended after about 20 minutes. The pool and hot tub were both out of order, but are still included in the photos of the property. I don’t know if this is a dry season thing or just while we were there, but we also didn’t see it being worked on either. As mentioned, the surrounding hotels/hostels sometimes play music very, very loud and late into the night. It turns the peaceful tranquil surroundings into an absolute nightmare as there is no soundproofing.

The staff were amazing and very helpful. It is a quick walk to the main area of town and walking trails. breakfast was delicious and lots of options! There is a nice pool with nets hammocks and river access.

The river access was nice - pool a little small but "ok": but rooms all need air con.

We had a great time at The sweet Harmony. Breakfast was delicious. Customer service is excellent. Would definitely come back
