Lovely pension in a brilliant location. Great value for money. Supermarket just across the road. The rooms have a fridge and microwave which handy if you want to pop back for lunch or a snack. Everything is within walking distance, the beach ,the old town and shopping areas.

Very central , supermarket across the street. Few mins walk to bus station and beach. Very neat little room with all the necessities plus thoughtful extras to make the stay comfortable like coffee/tea ( in the foyer), microwave, cutlery, fridge. The ladies working there are very kind and helpful . There is traffic noise at night but OK with windows closed . If your next door neighbour snores you will hear it! So bring earplugs . Pay attention to the info in the booking messages because the staff are based nearby in another property so there may be few mins wait to open the door for you . All queries answered straight away via WhatsApp , excellent service .

Location: amazing Cleanliness: excellent Noise: we were in room #1 , windows open for fresh air( reminder - no AC) , lots of noise at night. Sat. night was the worst. It was a busy weekend in Donostia. Amenities: there was a kitchen across the hall which was handy. The room had a little fridge with some bowls and utensils. Bathroom: had everything we needed but it is tiny-one has to sit to the side as our knees would not fit going forward. Check in:Despite sending two emails with our arrival time, the check in person was walking out the door as we walked up. However, she made a call and stayed to check us in. Not to worry anyway, as there is always someone 5 minutes away at their other pension. The balcony was tiny but handy for drying clothes. If you keep in mind what it is, it is an acceptable choice.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Room was very clean with the added bonus of a microwave and fridge. There were nice little touches with lamps and plants. Bathroom was small but had everything you needed including hairdryer and rainforest shower head. Toilet was sealed with hygiene tape to show that it had been disinfected. You could help yourself to tea and coffee in the foyer. Comprehensive communication from the manager, very helpful for finding parking. Minus 1 star for no air-con and we were unable to leave a window open due to noise and being overlooked. Luckily it wasn’t too hot in October. Dog friendly, they even provide dog bowls and beds. Would highly recommend this place. In fact we are going to book again for next year.

Wow this is an amazing location and a big room. Beside the bus station, the beach, the supermarket. Great shower. Fridge. Balcony. Fans available if too hot. We loved it here. The best pintxos or restaurant is right around the corner in Sansse.

Do not make the same mistake I did and stay here. This is the worst stay I’ve had in any hostel/hotel ever. The level of noise through the day and night was awful and the curtain was basically sheer so the rooms gets way too bright. Also the heat didn’t seem to be working. I checked out before my reservation was over and totally wasted my money.

Antes de alojarme en otros hostales, mi hija descubrió el HOSTAL URKIA y desde el 2010 voy de dos a tres veces al año a visitar a mi familia. Con esta reseña lo digo todo del placer de hospedarme en este HOSTAL. Yo lo recomiendo a todas mis amistades de lo cual han quedado muy satisfechos.

Perfecta ubicación. Habitación totalmente equipada Posibilidad de ir con perros Amabilidad en la recepción. Cocina compartida con todo lo necesario para hacer la comida. Precio super económico. Parking de pago con descuento a 100m. Sin lugar a dudas sitio recomendable para visitar la bonita ciudad

Muy bien situada, muy limpia la habitación, pequeña pero cómoda, estuvimos muy agusto.Con nevera y microondas. Muy atentos y amables. Te explican lo imprescindible si acabas de llegar y te facilitan un plano e información de la ciudad. Gracias.kis
