Great place.
Close to Texas state university.
Stay here for my daughter orientation in June.
Will stay again in October for Family Weekend.

If you like a firm hard bed this is for you- I don’t and have stayed on other holiday inns that have softer beds so wasn’t prepared.
Remotes didn’t work on guide or up channel- replacement didn’t work either.
Food is not worth the 10.00 brown bananas brown pineapple eggs were so dried and old and waffles from sitting too long. They did refund me but I left and went elsewhere.
Service is phenomenal at front desk - dining service gave the feeling you were there for them with the way they demanded your tickets

Disappointed in my stay here this go around. Water temperature never got to warm. Not pleasant with 40 degree temperature outside.
Breakfast was horrible and it was NOT FREE. Staff was asking everyone if they had paid or not. Nothing indicated it was np
Ot complimentary. I paid only to get cold waffles.

I would like to Thank the Management of this hotel for hosting us along with IDEA Mesquite Hills (El Paso, TX) for the flag football Regional Champ tournament. This hotel was the only hotel that was willing to work with the school on a reservation when the final dates were not available from the Sports League. The hotel staff is very friendly and most of all the security of the hotel is Exceptional!

Used to live and San Marcos and this property is one not to sleep on. Metaphorically speaking. The property itself is better than the ones nearby.

Great place to stay! The customer service was excellent, the facility was clean. The rooms were nice and spacious and very comfortable. Only downfall, was the bar could've opened a little earlier and stayed open a little later. Other than that, it was a great place to stay!!

Hotel was at full capacity, so may have been the reason hot water for a shower was at a bare minimum . Peeling ceiling paint in the tub. Restaurant meal was blah!! Overall, a good stay. Conveniently located, clean ,friendly staff

It was great. Easy check in. Comfy and clean stay. Good location. The hotel is nice. We had an ant issue that appeared in our bathroom over night but I don’t know if I blame the hotel. It’s been so dry for so long and they were in the sink. I think they were thirsty lol. I told the front desk and she documented it. Some things you just can’t control. Overall I would stay there again.
