This is a great location in Salt Lake City. It's within walk distance of tons of great eateries and bars. Friendly service. Walking to the temples and state capital and mall. Love it.

I’m a very light sleeper but since the air/heat units keep a constant purring sound and the neighbors were quiet I slept well. Without the purring noise you definitely would be bothered by the road traffic. Typical and decent room for Sheraton/Marriot. Bring your own lotions, shampoo etc., what they provide will not moisten your skin and, as in my case, may have run out (wall units). Close to a very good pizza place- SetteBello which I recommend as do loads of others! Gift/onsite shop sells loads of last minute souvenirs if you need them, plus yoghurt, orange juice, soft drinks, and a few beers.

This hotel is very clean and well appointed. The complementary breakfast in the morning was delicious and the staff was very friendly. My wife and I slept on the king size bed and our son slept on the trundle. Both beds were very comfortable. There is a wide variety of stores and restaurants in walking distance to the hotel. In addition, we took some relaxing walks in the park across the street as well as the Hidden Hollow walking trail which was shaded alongside a creek. We will definitely return to this hotel on our next visit to Salt Lake City.
ผผู้เข้าพักThis was the best hotel on our trip. We felt very welcome and enjoyed all of the interactions with the employees. There are great restaurants in the area, the front desk made some great recommendations. This hotel’s very clean. The breakfast was great. They have pumpkin waffles that were fabulous. I had read a review that said they didn’t feel safe, however that was not our experience- we felt safe in the area. There are homeless folks in the area but we never felt unsafe. Great place!
I’m surprised this hotel isn’t rated lower. Check-in was seamless. The rest of the experience was marginal at best. Although I am a gold member and soon to be platinum, My wife and I, senior citizens were placed at the extreme end of the property. Upon leaving for dinner we noted dog poop in the vicinity of the elevator. We reported this situation to the front desk immediately. Later, upon returning from dinner we noted that the feces had not been cleaned up. Now for dinner we ate in the hotel dining area. I ordered a margarita which was weak and bland. I had noted the price on the menu but failed to read the small print. Evidently the menu price reflects the mixes and fruit only. The margarita with liquor is significantly more expense than what is noted on menu. The restaurant was reasonably busy but wait staff consisted of two individuals. Service was extremely slow. The delivered foot was short of any garnish or accompaniments and was bland. Pricing was high for the level of service and the quality of food we received. The next morning we thought we might enjoy breakfast before heading to airport. Surprise, Surprise!! The only option was a buffet breakfast that was priced at $15. Problem was the items consisted of what you might find on Fairfield Inn’s free breakfast. I could continue but you get the picture.
ผผู้เข้าพักMold and poor customer service. Avoid at all costs. I checked into this hotel for a 1 week stay on a business trip. In the first few hours, my bathroom was flooded with more than 1 inch of standing water from a crack in the ceiling (room was 1st floor, 136). When i returned to the hotel after grabbing dinner with a friend to find this condition, i reported it to the front desk at 8:20pm. I was told at this time that there were no other available rooms and was handed some towels to clean up the mess. The ceiling continued to leak. I returned to front desk the following morning at 6am to ask if there was any availability to move me and was told it was too early and to come back later. I went to my conference and returned that evening and was told once again they had no availability to move me. I returned to my room and there was evidence of maintenence in the bathroom while I was away. Holes were drilled in the floor where the water was accumulating and the ceiling appeared to be minorly patched. The week continued and no more flooding of the bathroom occurred but there was still some minor leaking (puddles under the persistent crack above). I was polite and asked if there was availability, I'd like to be moved still but no availability continued. By Day 4, I began having some moderate allergy symptoms and the bathroom continued to be musky in smell. Symptoms resolved once I left the room. By Day 5, I woke up prtty severely ill and unable to breathe normally. When i returned to my room after my conference that day and had a bad allergic reaction when entering the room, I went to the desk to ask to be moved again. Once again - no available rooms. I called my 3rd party vendor to see what.options were available. No other hotel room options in the Salt Lake Area and the hotel refused to refund me or provide any discount or partial refund for the issues I've experienced. I had to stay one more evening. And when I asked the front desk one last time to move me, I was greeted with a very rude response that I should have came to the front desk sooner so they could have had it cleaned for the next guest (i.e. placing a new guest in it, despite the apparent mold in the bathroom). Overall: The management of this hotel did not care about guest safety and wellbeing. I had an allergic reaction to the growing mold in the bathroom from repeated water leaking from the ceiling. I was only offered towels to remedy the mess and their solution was to drill holds in the floor to drain water under the titles rather than fixing the issue. The hotel refused to issue me a refund dispite dealing with mold, becoming ill and unable to leave, and a continual leaking room.
