We highly recommend and would stay again. Room: The room was adequately sized, especially for being in the city. The bed itself was extremely comfortable and I really enjoyed the large balcony. Our room faced the street and we found it to be quiet during the day and/or night. An Italian breakfast is provided in the room daily and there was a mini fridge with water. Location: The property is a few minute walk to the main walking street where there are bars, restaurants, and shops. This street can take you to the train station in one direction and the historical center in the other. The property is also within walking distance to the ferry and the beach. We are avid walkers, but I would say nothing took longer than 10 minutes to get to. My only caution would be that there is a small incline when walking to the property from the south. Hospitality: The highlight of our stay was the hospitality. The host promptly met us when we arrived earlier than planned. Maid service was done daily even when we said it wasn’t necessary if they felt uncomfortable due to Covid. We also left behind a bag of cords by accident and remembered a week later. We contacted the property and the host promptly replied and set up a day and time to meet so we could pick it up. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
After lots of research we decided to make salerno as a base to explore amalfi coast and capri, and we r happy that we stayed here. Direct fast train from Rome [sorrento doesn't]..hotel being just Opposite to railway station. Easy to reach. We booked 1 double room and 1 single room for our family of 3. Rooms r clean, AC works great, normal size bathroom ,good hot water, supermarket nearby, walking distance to port and beach. Taxi stand just opposite to hotel, and main bus stop also just in front. We took ferry to capri (2 ports for ferry, LNG ferry 1.5 km away, 10 euro for taxi )and for amalfi town we took SITA bus 24 hour pass 10 euro per person and we started with amalfi, ravello and reached Positano and return. Easy to catch bus ,and just in 10 euro pp we completed our amalfi coast . Excellent location.and no noise in rooms, breakfast is great, fresh bakery and fruits every day. Staff is cheerful and extra helping. Best of all our hotels in Italy. Though rating is 3 star it is Actually better then msny 4 star hotels. Kudos to family management
Very clean, comfortable hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Special mention to housekeeping staff who were so accommodating, room serviced as soon as we left to go out. Beds extremely comfortable, with extra pillows and duvets provided. Bathroom large, with a walk-in shower. Excellent location in the town centre and a few minutes walk to the train station. Cathedral and churches well worth a walk down to see, and plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. Breakfast at the hotel was a little meagre, but not unusual for Italy. Wish we had brushed up on the Italian language, not many English speakers in Salerno, but that was our fault and will take lessons before returning! All in all, we had a lovely stay at this hotel and would definitely go back.
Bravo Paolo a presto rivederci
Very comfortable stay. Nice, clean room certainly no complaints in that respect. Location is outside of the centre of Salerno, however a half-hourly train can be caught 5 minutes walk away from the hotel, which gets u into Salerno in 15 minutes, and u can be at the tourist ferry terminal in 25 minutes. A small number of restaurants around and a supermarket is 2 minutes away.
Breakfast was very basic but was sufficient enough. Not too bad for the price point and definitely cheaper than Amalfi Coast, but the easy access to Amalfi Coast made it worth the stay.
Avoid at all costs. Caution to those looking to book, there is a hotel panorama and most likely the positive reviews are meant for the hotel, not residence. First, I was told the card couldn’t be processed after successful online booking and that I needed to email my full credit information as the balance remainder on the card was insufficient, despite myself knowing this is not the case. I double checked the card I used and also asked for the last digits of the card. The card was fine, when I told them this they then changed the story to say the card number was just incomplete and again to email the card information. I refused to email and they threatened to cancel the reservation. During July, there were very few available hotels at this point just a few days to check in. So against my better judgement I provided a rarely used card in case of them being a scam and called with the information. Upon arrival at the very old building, they asked for a security deposit of 100 euros. This seems unheard of here in Italy and was discussed also in a very recent review as well. I provided the same card again written on an old fashioned carbon copy paper. When I got the keys to go upstairs they told me there are also stairs as many guests are scared of the elevator. I didn’t know what to say but now that seemed warranted. When I entered the room to lock it, I found the deadbolt to be jammed so that there was no way to internally lock the door. The building is shared use with local apartments. When I let the front desk know the deadbolt did not lock (I am young female alone) they told me first that none of the doors had internal locks. I asked a guest staying there as this seemed simply a lie, which they confirmed their door did lock internally as is a bare minimum feature at hotels to have a deadbolt lock. I note the keys to get in are a physical key rather than electronic. I requested they call maintenance to fix the door, they told me they had already left but they will come in the morning to fix the door. This means they lied that all doors do not lock as they agreed it needed to be fixed. I then informed them I would not be accepting the room and would be leaving. They tried to delay me so much with the same circular talk of they will fix the door in the morning (despite previously saying all doors do not lock internally), they also say they have security at front desk (but there are multiple entrances and no security between local residential floors and guest floors), and later that Italy requires all doors to be non panic and not internally locking (this is false). They will not refund or cancel the multiple night stay and now dispute with credit card company is in progress. Whatever you do, avoid this place. The room was also dirty and couldn’t have been cheaper put together despite the cost of the room.
I really like the stay at this place. It's very clean and surprisingly quiet place. The breakfast was really well laid out with a good variety of continental treats and we really liked the personal service. It's very clean too with well managed table service and very clean tablecloths and napkins. I also really liked the cleaning staff we had keeping our room in ship shape condition. Well done Angela and thank you The parking can also be a help inside the garage Great location for us and close by to family and great for shopping near Pontecagnano Visit Sorrento and the coast from here including the local smaller airport that could be useful Well done the Management. I was very much impressed.

We arrived on Sunday 22/10/23 with limited expectations, the hotel had a Wedding in progress and this made check in at most casual, initial impressions were ok décor looked traditional and clean, The room 204, that's where it all went down hill, room was small and bland. a small TV hung on the wall, a fridge was in the cupboard below which didn't seem to work and was supposed to be stocked, it wasn't, it was empty, walls were scuffed and could have done with a lick of paint. The bathroom was small and had an over bath shower with usual facilities, the bath needed the sealant replaced around the whole bath, the shower blind was a bit dated and grim the underside of it was not clean. I'm afraid it wasn't inviting, quite the opposite, needed updating. The door to the balcony was new and worked well, when you get outside you see this hotels appeal being 600m Above Sea Level the views are breath-taking. Bed was hard as stone like sleeping on a mortuary slab, not that I've ever done that and i actually slept quite well. my wife however wasn't as pleased, we enquired about a topper at reception, the language barrier did get in the way but we thought we'd got through, alas we didn't get the topper. we had one meal in the hotel which was ok. Breakfast was served on level -1 a large soulless room, normal continental fair ham, cheese, bread, hard boiled eggs some limp lettuce, no cereal to speak of, yogurt tea and American Coffee. Not exactly well presented but ok. my wife is a coeliac(gluten free) and the staff provided gluten free products, on the Wednesday morning and i can only assume that as there were only 5 people in the hotel breakfast was served in the ground floor restaurant, which was better, and had great views, breakfast was served at the table. There was a bar but it was not well stocked or manned. 2x G&T's £8 parking was ok a bit tight but ok. The hotel is in the hamlet of Agerola which has limited restaurants and bars we had drinks at Madame in the square and at the bar across the road when the aforementioned was shut, we had a meal in the next village along, which was also small and only had one or two restaurants that we could find. Not exactly buzzing but very pretty and it was October, also bear in mind the temperature is 3-4 degs lower than the coast, Also it takes about an hour to get to the coast, round some tight bendy mountain roads, if your a nervous driver might not be the place for you. We left a day early and moved to Pompeii as he weather was not good, and we wanted to get nearer to Naples, paid the bill which included a local tax! I'm sure was included on the original booking but i may be wrong, worth watching out for. This hotel is very pretty and traditional the staff are friendly and helpful, it has the potential, to be a good hotel, public rooms are modern and clean but they need a bit of fine tuning, Room/s need modernizing. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

220271835We had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Guesthouse and highly recommend it. The location was ideal: ~10 min from the train station and ~10 to the port. It was also just a few blocks to the main shopping and dining areas. Our rooms were clean and very nice. The bathroom was spacious. Showers were hot, and the room and bathroom had nice large windows that opened for fresh air. The rooms had a/c but it was not necessary to use. Breakfast prepared by Angela was wonderful. There were many foods to choose from including yogurt, fruit, cereals, pastries, meat and cheese, and Angela will cook fresh eggs. Coffee was lovely as well. For those with large luggage or mobility issues, please note that there are stairs at the entrance and the rooms are one flight up stairs. Angela was a wonderful and helpful host. We enjoyed chatting with her and having her recommendations and advice. We are glad to have been able to stay here and would return.
Spent 3 nights' at the RarityArt Minihotel in the Renoir room and loved it. The check-in staff member (Mattheus) was incredibly kind, helpful and great at giving recommendations for places to eat and things to see. The rooms each having a unique art theme and style was lovely and despite the very hot 30+ degree days, the air-conditioning in the room worked a treat and it was always kept so clean. The hotel is also super convenient for getting to the Ferry/ Station, to the centre of town or to the beach. The only thing for people to keep in mind is the 20 or so marble stairs from the ground floor to the hotel on the first floor, but honestly, it didn't bother me. Would absolutely stay here again!
