We were in town for the memorial service of a close friend. So we just needed a place to lay our heads for 1 night. The updates that were done to hotel make it more modern with a traditional feel. We enjoyed the outdoor patio. Breakfast was yummy and the coffee was good too (I am kind of a coffee snob). Our room was updated in decor. It could use some updates to the doors and popcorn paint (which I know is common in this area of VA). Pillows were ample, not as comfortable as I would prefer. We were able to secure rooms next door to our friends. We did make that request at the time of reservation. Staff was kind and accommodating. I would definitely recommend!

We stayed one night and arrived kind of late in the evening. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the free breakfast the next morning. There is a pool and work-out room but we did not visit either.

Absolutely, the best stay I have ever had. Stayed one week, and added another week and here's why?: - Coming in the staff was completely professional and friendly. Give anything you needed and asked for without hesitation. I enjoyed our conversations, made me feel like I was home with family. - The rooms were absolutely beautiful. The Maids was very nice and kept it clean. Every day was fresh clean white towels and was cloths. Hot water for showers. - Clean Showers and sink. Big screen TV with lots of channels and Wi-Fi. - Accommodations were the Outstanding Breakfast, Mmmm those ”Waffles” :) Fresh coffee, Orange, Apple Juice, Milk Cereal, Fruit, Yogurt, and Scrambled Eggs. - King Size Bed, very comfortable and yes! Fluffy Pillows, no back aches. - Air Condition was very quiet and comfortable in all settings (Air,Fan,Heat) - Nice and very, very quiet, even though the main street traffic is in front. Don't hear it! - Would Highly Recommend! By far the Best and Cheapest Hotel with the Good Quality like a 5 Star Hotel :) Book Today, you'll see I right! :)

I had the pleasure of staying at the Quality Inn in Salem, Virginia, for a full weekend. There were very few issues, none of which compromised the comfort of my stay. This Quality Inn was in the middle of renovations, but the work did not disturb me personally. It also allowed me to choose an end room with an adjacent room closed for upgrades. The room I stayed in was complete. The shower and bathroom upgrades were fabulous. My only issue would be with the new style mirror lighting provided. It could have been slightly brighter. The room furniture was only average as well. The seating provided in the room wasn’t the most comfortable. Otherwise, the room was spotless clean and roomy. The staff was likewise efficient and courteous. Adora checked me in punctually and allowed me to select my preferred location in the motel. She was extremely informative and charming. The breakfast facility was spacious. The food was magnificent, and the lobby, like the room, was exceptionally clean. When combined with the Quality Inn cost-per-night, this motel is an excellent choice for value. If you want clean and modern features at a price that won’t crimp your budget, the Quality Inn Salem, Virginia, is a wise choice.

We stayed on the first floor and the rooms are in need of upgrading. No elevator for. The second floor, desk clerk was very nice, breakfast needed i improvement with meat such as sausage or bacon! Coffee was good, could use variety of fruit, and only one selection.

This place was crowded with barely any parking left. Though there would be a lot of noise in the hallways but the night ended up being very quiet. Hotel is very clean. Staff was very nice and helpful for local restaurants choices.

Racing home to Florida after Hurricane Ian, made a last minute reservation here -- was hesitant to do so based upon the reviews. But we had a lovely time. The gentleman at the front desk (I believe his name was Leon) couldn't have been kinder. Warm and helpful! Our room was comfortable and clean. Had a fabulous Italian meal at Mama Maria's around the corner from the hotel. Our entire experience helped us during a stressful time. Would definitely stay again.
