Unfortunately, we were not lucky to encounter the right reception staff. At our arrival we were not even greeted. We had to attract the attention of the reception staff to be able to check in. Interesting approach, especially if the person is standing right in front of you. 10 minutes after check in I approached the reception for a question and the same woman asked: ”Are you checking out?” The rooms were very cold and there was no heating in the rooms, even with 11 degrees outside. We were told by the reception that the heating turns on automatically when the temperature outside reaches 20 degrees or lower. It did not happen. Breakfast: poor variety. No milk in the coffee machine and when asked staff instead of providing tell you: ”Just use the creamer.” If you ask for a yoghurt you are told they don't have any and you see them taking the same product to selected guests. Also, at our checkout not even a thank you and not even a goodbye. We've been in other Bastion hotels and all were great, with polite and friendly staff, service oriented and a regular breakfast service. And let's not forget the heating. So this hotel is an exception to the rule. Barendrecht is nice but the wrong hotel if you want to feel like you're a little bit respected. I hope this helps next travellers not to get in the same situation.

Accueil digne d'un hôtel haut de gamme. Equipe de réception très professionnelle tout comme l'ensemble du personnel de cet hôtel que je n'hésiterai pas à classer comme meilleur Ibis Styles fréquenté ces dernières années. Certes, c'est hôtel très récent mais on peut aisément constaté qu'il a été conçu avec des équipements et des matériaux de très bonnes qualités. La décoration (hall, bar, restaurant, chambres) réalisée avec goût sans oublier l'aspect confort que certains architectes oublient lors de la conception de certains hôtels. Le service est lui aussi très professionnel et courtois tant au bar, au restaurant et lors du petit déjeuner. Le restaurant (italien) propose des mets variés et qualitatifs. On ressent l'envie de satisfaire et de bien faire. Belle petite carte des vins. Merci spécial au manager Eliott. Le petit déjeuner proposé est lui aussi très varié et riche (cela change du traditionnel petit déjeuner standard et pauvre des hôtels Ibis en France). Les chambres sont bien équipées et joliment décorées. L'hôtel est situé face à la salle omnisport et concerts de Ahoy. Parking payant jouxtant l'hôtel. 5 minutes à pied de la station de métro Zuidplein qui vous permet de rejoindre la gare de Rotterdam Centraal en un peu plus de 10 minutes et l'hyper centre de Rotterdam en 5 minutes. En conclusion, même si nous avons la chance de fréquenter plutôt des hôtels premium je qualifierai l'IBIS Styles Ahoy comme un des meilleurs hôtel fréquenté depuis 25 ans dans le groupe Accor. เราเข้าพักที่ The James 5 คืน เมื่อกลางเดือนกรกฎาคม เป็นโรงแรมที่ดี - ตั้งอยู่ใจกลางเมือง ที่ สามารถเดินไปยังสถานีรถไฟ ร้านอาหาร และสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวได้ ห้องพักที่เราพักมีขนาดที่ดีและจัดไว้อย่างสวยงาม เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของแพคเกจ เราใช้จักรยาน 2 คัน เต็มวัน เราเอาจักรยานออกไปในวันที่ 19 กรกฎาคม เพื่อขี่รอบๆ Kinderdijk ซึ่งห่างจาก waterbus ประมาณ 20 กม. จักรยานคันนึงรู้สึกช้าตั้งแต่แรกแต่เราอ้างอิงปัญหาคือยางที่แบนลง น่าเสียดายที่ไม่ใช่ปัญหา มันทําให้เสียงปิงดังเมื่อใส่กลับเหมือนเป็นการถอยหลังออกจากราวจักรยานบนเรือเฟอร์รี่ ถีบก็หมุนฟรีทันทีที่เราเริ่มขี่เมื่อเราลงจากเรือเฟอร์รี่ ผมอีเมล์แจ้งเรื่องทางโรงแรมทันทีแต่ไม่ได้ยินเสียงอะไรกลับมาอีกครึ่งชั่วโมงกว่า มีคนท้องถิ่นชี้เราไปร้านจักรยาน ห่างออกไป 2 กม. และลงเราไป นี่เป็นวันที่ร้อนสุด (39 C) ที่ประเทศเนเธอร์แลนด์ได้สัมผัสมาในทศวรรษที่ผ่านมาและเรามีการครอบคลุมเกือบ 60 กม. จึงต้องการเริ่มต้นก่อนหน้านี้ เมื่อทางโรงแรมอีเมล์กลับมาให้เราได้อยู่ที่ร้านจักรยานแล้วเพื่อซ่อมแซมมัน ไม่มีทางที่เราจะรออีกชั่วโมงหรือ2กว่าที่ทางโรงแรมส่งความช่วยเหลือให้ ช่างก็ผิดหวังกับสภาพของจักรยานมากที่เขาบอกว่าโรงแรมควรจ่ายค่าซ่อมแซมและเขาอาจจะโทรหาเขาถ้ามีคําถามใดๆ ฟร้อนท์แจ้งว่าซัพพลายเออร์จักรยานของเค้าน่าจะจ่ายค่าซ่อมให้เรากลับ แต่ 3 อาทิตย์ต่อมาเราก็ยังรออยู่ จุดคือ ผมเอาจักรยานมาจากโรงแรม ไม่ใช่ซัพพลายเออร์ของเค้า โรงแรมใดที่เหมาะสมก็จะชดเชยลูกค้าและจัดการกับซัพพลายเออร์เอง ดิฉันจะไม่หงุดหงิดเกินไปกับการสูญเสีย 35 ยูโร แต่นี่แสดงให้เห็นถึงการบริการลูกค้าที่แย่มากกับโรงแรมนี้ าม อาจจะพักที่นั่นแล้วก็น่าจะOK ตราบใดที่ไม่มีอะไรผิดปกติ

เราได้เข้าพักช่วงสุดสัปดาห์ที่ Room Mate Bruno เป็นโรงแรมที่เหมาะที่สุดในการค้นพบเมือง ทุกอย่าง สามารถเดินเท้า หรือเช่าจักรยานก็ได้ พนักงานต้อนรับส่วนหน้า พนักงานต้อนรับเป็นอย่างดี ใจดี คอยช่วยเหลือตลอด ห้องออกกําลังกายมีอุปกรณ์ทุกอย่างที่ต้องการเพื่อออกกําลังกายแบบรวดเร็ว ห้องพักเก็บเสียงได้ดีมากๆ เพราะถึงแม้ห้องที่เราพักอยู่ติดกับบาร์แต่เราไม่ได้ได้ยินอะไรเลยและสามารถพักผ่อนได้อย่างเพลิดเพลินกับคืนที่ดี
