The hotel: you get what you pay for. It's salvageable. Rooms are clean but dated circa 1970s brown and tan. The pool area is filthy. I felt bad for the young person working reception -- it's clear that the resources are limited. But the worst is the hotel's restaurant. It's called Twigs, but Turds is a more representative moniker. Went there because I has having surgery at Mayo. r. Asked in advance the maître d' regarding hour when the kitchen closed. Was told 9:30. Returned at 9:00. Was told -- with "Minnesota nice" attitude -- that the only option was the bar. Plenty of seats, but didn't want to make a stink. Sat. And sat. And sat while the bartender chatted endlessly with another customer. No greeting, no menus, no nothing. The maître d returned to behind the bar, and attended to some meaningless task. I interrupted the bartender to get the maître d''s attention, and asked him to give me the menu containing the alleged food that they allegedly serve. He slapped the menu on the bar. No service. The time is now 9:25. I walked out. The restaurant is a horror of a joint that should be closed by the health department.

We booked a possible extended stay at your hotel but ended up staying 2 nights, the 7th and the 8th of September. We decided on your hotel based on descriptions and photos on your website. When booking our stay we asked for a first floor unit and we were assured one was held for us. When we arrived, we were given a 2nd floor unit and when I asked about it, the response was a little more than a shrug of the shoulders and was treated like our presence was annoying them. But all that aside, we were anxious to get to our room to relax. Entering the unit, we were taken aback by the looks and quality of the room. The carpet was either very old or it had been a long while since it had a good cleaning. I go into the bathroom and see that the laminate on the door was split and peeling. In the main room was a recliner that was very obviously old and outdated, fading and roughed over upholstery. When I sat in it, I sank into the chair itself because most of the springs and support were way beyond repair, to the point that I had major difficulties trying to get out of it. It looked like the last time this unit was painted or maintained was back in the '80s. In your website, the room you were showing an immaculate suite freshly taken care of. If there was any possibility of getting a full refund, I would jump at the chance. These comments are also going to be posted on the travel sites along with a single star rating. The reason for 1 star is because if I put no stars, people reading it might think I forgot to click on anything. Also, I had booked the room for a minimum of 2 weeks, but when we arrived we were told it booked for only 2 days. Fortunately we ended up staying only those 2 days after all.

Needs CLEANING EVERYWHERE The hotel is long in the tooth In wall A/C remote doesn't work had to climb up on recliner (senior) to change to ac on 90° day. Called front desk said they would put a work order in be up in just a few min. 3 hours later.. 920pm no show went to bed. Filthy carpets rooms/halls. The good? Close to Mayo, nice shuttle, great restaurant--but they didn't want to seat me in a booth as a single 😔 had to sit at the bar Looking for a new place. This one... eww!

I would not recommend this property. Begin with driving into the hotel driveway: There are no wayfinding signs indicating where to park. One can see cars parked in a parking area behind the hotel, but the two 3-story motel-like buildings with outside entrances that looked like apartments, and the parking appears to be for residents of these buildings. There was no signage to identify what the buildings were. Only later did we learn otherwise. Next, entering the hotel lobby with our luggage, the clerk didn't bother to acknowledge our presence. She did not welcome us to the hotel or otherwise show any interest in our presence. Finally, she said in very soft voice, "Checking in?" She gave us a form to fill out about our car. The form required us to list the model, color, and year. When I asked her why there isn't the only question all other properties ask, the vehicle's license number, she just kind of shrugged. Finally, she gave us our key cards and told us that our room was in the building next door, behind where we were. We were confused and asked her to explain. She said again that our room was on the third floor of a building behind us. We had to leave the hotel and walk outside (in the rain) to our room. Still not sure we understood, she asked us if we would like a room in "this building?" "Yes, that would be appreciated," I said. She then did some switching around and gave us new key cards to a room on the 7th (top) floor. The room was a huge disappointment. The mattress was old and lumpy. The bathroom, slightly larger than a phone booth, had mold where the tile met the bathtub, and there was some weird, "S"-shaped plastic contraption with a shower head on it that was permanently fixed in place and aimed at the far tile wall. The ONLY positive thing I can say about this property is the TWIGS restaurant, which is fabulous. I suspect TWIGS leases its space.

Quiet room and very friendly staff! The shuttle will take you where you need to go nearby, Mayo Clinic, hospitals and shopping at the Apache mall. Drivers are so helpful. The shuttle runs often and the hotel has free parking.

My husband and I stayed here in one of the extended stay suites. It was nice to be able to have more space while being one of many who are here for medical reasons at Mayo's. The staff from the front desk to tge cleaning staff and especially the shuttle drivers who were fantastic. Allowing the guest to concentrate on the reasons they are facing. Our regular shuttle driver Daryl, was awesome! He was friendly, informative assisted the guest needs(wheel chair or even a hand to get on or off the shuttle) he was a safe driver. Having him also took the stress off us not having to drive to the different buildings each day. No matter what, if we needed extra towels to even a plunger it was addressed quickly by the hotelfront desk. Sorry no photos, I guess because it wasn't a vacation that we would snap take photos. I'm sure we will have to travel to the area. And have no doubt we will definitely stay at this hotel again. Triple snaps to them👌🤗

The staff at the hotel are the BEST! From the front desk staff to the shuttle drivers, everyone was so helpful and friendly! They gave me a better rate than on the internet when I checked in. The shuttle staff recognized you after the first day and were always friendly and helpful! We stayed in the extended stay suites and they are a bit dated but for the price and the helpfulness of the staff it is well worth it! The free breakfast is good, the pool and hot tub temps were good. The hot water in the hotel is the hottest, anywhere I have ever stayed so be aware! The shuttle goes over to Mayo about every 15 minutes. they are very reliable!!

EXCELLENT place to stay for Mayo Clinic! We were so thrilled to find Centerstone. I was on a strict diet for testing. Centerstone has every kind of room you need. We had basically a one-room apartment with full kitchen and living room w/desk, so spacious! with everything we needed. I cooked what I could have and husband ate at restaurant. Free hot breakfast, bed was good for my back. Very quiet and private. Immaculate property, indoor pool & hot tubs looked wonderful, great restaurant w/gluten-free & wonderful outdoor seating, lots of indoor sitting areas. Shuttlebus on demand, but we walked, 5 minutes to Mayo. The Mayo patient discount made it a no-brainer, much less $ than chains with MUCH better amenities & more comfort. And all staff are so kind, professional, and quick. VERY HIGHLY recommend.

Great resturant and bar area. Free parking. Free Shuttle service to mayo clinic. Friendly staff. Main building is better than the other building's with full kitchens. Those suites are very old and out dated. Ask for high floor in main bldg. Some of the rooms on lower levels are out dated and smelly. They have a large pool and hot tub but they really need to get rid of the solid orange flags hanging from the ceiling. Very tacky looking. Good price. Free breakfast awful. I'd stay there again though.

The hotel is run down and needs to be updated. The good was that it was a large room with a separate bedroom. The bad was that we specified a first floor room and not in the pet building. First room was just that except we were on the 3rd floor. The room smelled of urine so we complained and were put in another building of course on the 3rd floor. We were travelling with bikes and had called in a month prior to request. The ugly was the decor of the rooms that are shown in the pictures! The breakfast buffet was cold microwave pancakes with fruit and other stale items. Coffee was good! Shuttle bus was convenient but couldn't get a hold of front desk first night for the return! Nice that they had sitting areas to meet for a drink. Don't think we will be returning here in the future!

We were looking for a hotel to stay for a girls weekend. We were a group of 14 moms and daughters for prom dress shopping. I'm a Hilton Diamond member but agreed to try a local hotel just for something different. The thing that attracted us to the hotel was that it had a restaurant attached. Long story short we were kicked out before we were seated. 1) Apparently it is a big deal to seat a large group - even though we said to split us up and 2) we walked down from our rooms with open cans of seltzers. They told us we had to wait 1.25 hours, so we all spread out in the lobby and in the waiting area of the restaurant. We were waiting for mom #6 to come down to start a tab and we were kicked out by the manager. The worse thing was that our kids had to wait in the lobby later for meals to be delivered. Both times they were down there, the employees at the desk were STILL talking about our group. That is beyond unprofessional and not acceptable. But at least our teenage daughters were able to see firsthand how bad it looks to gossip about people....especially customers. To top the stay off, we went to breakfast in the morning and they had food out there....but NO silverware. The girl at the desk said she looked for silverware and couldn't find. Hard to eat yogurt without a spoon. The juice was light colored water. It was not good. We just grabbed a tiny muffin and went out to eat. Avoid this place unless you are just looking for an extended stay and don't plan to eat at the breakfast or restaurant in the lobby.
