The facility is new, clean and well cared for. The staff was very professional, as well as friendly with excellent customer service as their first priority The price was fair. I enjoyed the breakfast each morning with a large variety of items to eat. The swimming pool was a bonus. I would highly recommend this motel, as my experience was 5 star! I plan to return whenever I am in town. Very safe for the solo traveler. Beautiful scenery and location in Rochester Minnesota

The pool and hot tub were "closed indefinitely." The rooms had a lived-in odor. The in-room coffee maker was broken. The beds were okay.

The property is next to a small airport, which wasn't as noisy as one would think. There are semis that park out back, which were noisier than the airport, but still manageable. The pool and hot tub were perfect temperatures, however, the pool needed vacuuming as it was quite gritty on the bottom. The breakfast area was fine with the usual expected breakfast options. I wish they'd have brewed coffee though instead of the machine type that spews out something close to coffee. The one thing that was more of a problem for both of us was the firmness of the mattress. It wasn't the best sleeping causing a lot of tossing and turning. We were there for 4 days. Everything was quite clean and orderly. We needed extra pillows to help with the mattress situation, which were easily obtained. The property is several miles from Rochester so one really needs a car to go anywhere. The price was reasonable for the amenities.
