Just to be clear this is not a bad hotel. The rooms were ok but on the small side. The breakfast buffet was ok but not amazing. The service is generally good. However if you have titanium status or above you will not receive the kind of service you will get at other Marriott hotels. I have stayed here multiple times (on weekdays and weekends) and have never received so much as a square inch of an upgrade (despite requesting ahead of time and at checkin, and confirming that there were better rooms available). It’s a shame because a loyalty program is really only as good as its benefits. Hotels like this benefit from being part of the loyalty program (they get the customers) but do not add value to it.
