Excelente opção na barra da Tijuca .. tarifa valor um pouco mais alto e até bem acima mas devido período de carnaval.. ótimo café da manhã mas as 10:30 em ponto o pessoal do restaurante já passa igual um “furacão”retirando tudo nem água deixam.. sauna não estava funcionando.. parece q havia quebrado e não arrumaram no mesmo dia ..de resto tudo ok!!

The rooms are very small with poorly designed lighting. No bedside lamps. The hotel is freezing cold and no chance to moderate temperature in the room. Walls are too thin and you could hear everything. Breakfast is ok but every day the same. Some variety in the hot buffet will be appreciated. Otherwise the hotel is close to the beach and within walking distance to a few restaurants. Staff is very polite and helpful. Breakfast items are tasty (except the coffee). The shower is nice and bathroom is relatively spacious.

Obviously ZERO, This hotel was not my pick. Due to flight cancellation United airlines picked it for me. When I arrived at the hotel I asked about late check out as I was instructed by the United agent so I could plan my day and transportation to the airport. I was informed by Daniele de Assis that I did not have to worry about it because the contract they had with the airline the check out could be as late as I need. I was surprised and impressed with that answer since it is not an usual hotel habit. Well, the next day someone knocks on my door saying I had to get out of the room with the threat I would have to pay another night. When questioned About the wrong information with Max the manager it was useless, he was professional but did not address the situation. So my experience is here now hopefully it will help someone in the future.

We stayed at this hotel for 13 nights. The hotel was clean and the first few days were fine. HOWEVER, in the middle of our stay, we were asked to move rooms, due to the maintenance on the floor we were in. When the bellhop person came to help us with the luggage, we found out that this maintenance has been scheduled for over 2 weeks and he didn’t understand why they have given us a room on that floor. That was very upsetting but we didn’t complain. HOWEVER, the door knob on the new room was broken and the key would not open the door. They gave us the option to change rooms (AGAIN?? SERIOUSLY??) or they would ask maintenance to fix it. Even though they said they had fixed it, the key would not work properly. When we check out, they charged us for 5 water bottles ($50 Brazilian reais). I asked if they would really charge me for that after all the problems we faced during our stay or if that could a courtesy on their part. I was told I had to pay for the water in the coldest way ever! Would never stay there again. RESTAURANT REVIEW: we had a nice dinner on our first night and paid to have breakfast included. The breakfast is buffet style and it’s fairly good. But it’s the same daily, so it got boring after a while. We invited our mother to eat breakfast with us one morning and asked for a decaffeinated coffee for her as it is NOT available in the menu. Even though we paid for her breakfast buffet, we had to pay EXTRA for her to have a decaf coffee.

I stayed here where my flight from Lisbon to Belo Horizonte was diverted to Rio de Janeiro due to the airport being closed due to the bad weather. So it was the airline TAP Portugal which arranged (and paid for) my stay here. And I really enjoyed it. The reception staff was really friendly, welcoming and helpful. My room had a nice view of mainly the hotel in front but also of the beach. It was clean, the beds were comfortable so just 10/10

The hotel has a nice location right next to the beach. It's a little far from most of the sights, but it's a calmer neighborhood with plenty to see. The hotel, however, was a little disappointing considering the number of stars. It felt very bare. The rooms was small and had no decoration. The lobby area really just served as an area for people to sit and wait for tours. There was no comfortable seating. The pool is small and the rooftop area is pretty windy. The rooftop bar is again not particularly comfortable with lots of echo-y hard surfaces. Everyone was very nice, but it was distinctly lacking in comfort. The Italian restaurant has really good food and it's worth eating. However, beware that it is extremely air-conditioned. I don't know why hotels insist on blasting the AC when it is so hot outside. I had to take a sweater every time I went to breakfast and I heard multiple guests complaining about the temperature. They would even seat people in slightly warmer areas of the room.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at Windsor towers /barra da Tijuca -RJ, and it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. The hospitality provided by the staff was nothing short of abysmal. They seemed disinterested and lacked any sense of professionalism, leaving me feeling unwelcome throughout my stay. To make matters worse, the hotel had the audacity to charge fees for the utensils (knife and fork ) . I was shocked to find out that they don't provide a iron charge me extra just for providing an iron, for simple minor touch up , amenity that should be readily available in any decent hotel., instead charge laundry service fees , they also not provide an adequate luggage stand for luggage storage . But the most frustrating part of my stay was the never-ending issue with the door key. It malfunctioned repeatedly, forcing me to make several trips to the front desk for assistance. It's infuriating to deal with such incompetence, especially when you're already tired from traveling. What adds insult to injury is that the management showed no concern for these issues. There were no apologies or attempts to rectify the situation. It was as if they simply didn't care about providing a pleasant experience for their guests. In fact they blame us for the door key malfunction. I would strongly advise anyone considering a stay at Windsor towers to think twice and look elsewhere for accommodation. The lack of hospitality, exploitative charges for basic services provided at not charge at any other hotel, it seem like they were trying to squeeze every last penny out of their guests, plus the malfunctioning door key make this hotel an absolute nightmare. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment and find a more welcoming and competent establishment.
