Found this one serendipitously online. Stayed in the cellar self-contained unit: bed alcove, sitting room, bathroom, and kitchenette. It was lovely; there was a keurig with coffee and tea, a well-stocked mini-fridge, bread, croissants, English muffins, and other baked goods, jam, butter, etc. Everything needed for breakfast. The bed was comfortable, although you have to watch out for the ledge that surrounds it in order to not bark your shins. All in all, this is a perfect spot from which to explore Richmond's museums and Cary Street. We've already booked a return visit.
