ซุ้มมีขนาดเล็กมากแทบไม่มีซุ้มใด ๆ ทันทีที่คุณเข้าประตูจะมีบันได บนชั้นสองเป็นบาร์และร้านอาหารที่คุณสามารถทานอาหารได้ และแผนกต้อนรับก็อยู่ที่นั่นด้วย สามารถเก็บสัมภาระได้ฟรีที่ชั้น 2 แต่เป็นกล่องเก็บของในห้องนั่งเล่นที่ไม่มีล็อค บางทีหัวหน้าอาจคิดว่าไม่มีใครรับได้ ชั้น 3 และ 4 เป็นที่พักอาศัย และแต่ละชั้นมีห้องน้ำและห้องสุขาหลายห้อง ไม่มีห้องน้ำและห้องสุขาในห้อง นอกจากนี้ยังมีเครื่องซักผ้าสองเครื่องบนชั้นสี่ ค่าใช้จ่ายประมาณสองหรือสามยูโรต่อครั้ง ทุกห้องมีตู้แต่ไม่มีล็อค มีปลั๊กไฟไม่กี่ตัวในห้อง และแต่ละเตียงมีเพียงโคมไฟ แต่ไม่มีเต้ารับ โดยทั่วไปมีโต๊ะเล็กในห้อง เมื่อเช็คเอาท์ ให้นำปลอกหมอน ผ้าปูที่นอน และผ้าปูที่นอนในถุงรีไซเคิลในโถงทางเดินออก ในแต่ละชั้นของชั้น 3 และ 4 จะมีห้องครัวพร้อมหม้อและกระทะ ตู้เย็น ฯลฯ สำหรับทำอาหาร ไม่มีแชมพูเจลอาบน้ำ แต่มีกระดาษทิชชู่ไม่จำกัด ฉันไม่พบเครื่องเป่าผม แต่ก็ไม่ได้ถามเช่นกัน หน้าต่างทางเดินสามารถมองเห็นทะเลได้โดยตรง แม้ว่าบาร์บนชั้นสองจะมีเสียงดังมากในตอนกลางคืน แต่ห้องเก็บเสียงนั้นดีและไม่ได้ยินเสียงเลย นอกจากนี้ซีทริปยังบอกว่าจะจ่ายภาษีและค่าธรรมเนียมที่ร้าน แต่เจ้านายไม่ได้พูดอะไรเกี่ยวกับเรื่องนี้ โดยรวมแล้วมันค่อนข้างดี ทิ้งเงินให้ฉันในไอซ์แลนด์

Cons: 1. This building is a former confectionery factory. You feel like the horror movie Saw 11, only in reality. Everywhere there are portraits of long-dead people, like in a cemetery. They are looking at you from everywhere. 2. Old, shabby furniture with elements of attributes of a touring circus. 3. Everything needs renovation. 4. The hairdryer doesn't work. 5. Paid towel 7 €. 6. There are no partitions in the shower room and you wash in groups of 5 people, just like in a public bathhouse. 7. Dirty. 8. There are a lot of people and they snore loudly around the clock, cough, talk, rustle bags and bags, slam doors, leave and come, beds constantly creak. 9. The feeling that you are in hell. It's impossible to sleep. 10. There is a charge for a locker with a lock. 11. There is no shampoo or shower gel. 12. The toilets are dirty. 13. You clean up your laundry. PROS: 1. There is a kitchen with all the appliances, although for two nights the neighbors drinked alcohol and screamed at the top of their lungs. 2. Cheap 3. Not far from the center 4. Wi-Fi

Hostel was in a good location, close to the centre of Reykjavík. The staff weren’t the friendliest upon arrival, and didn’t explain anything about the hostel, as was expected. The hostel wasn’t the cleanest either unfortunately, with the showers being quite unpleasant, though adequate. All in all I would recommend this location due to the price and location.

The ambience of the hostel is very good, easy to meet some nice people.

Location is perfect. It really close to the waterfront. But there is no hot water in late night.

Great stay at Reykjavik ! Love the interior. Bathroom, kitchen, bedroom are all clean and neat.

Awful customer service and frankly they outright lie. There are construction works going on from 9am to 8pm every day and this has been going on since 23 Nov 2023. Nobody has been notified in writing yet they claim to have notified so therefore they do not issue refunds. Everything has to be communicated by writing even if you call or are standing right at the front desk they still ask you to email. Trip.com and I was not notified by email of any construction nor was it mentioned on Kex hostel's website. I would not have booked if I knew. I only found out once I got there. It is impossible to rest during the day with the reverberations going through the building for several hours a day continuously. There are no lifts to take your luggage up and the entrance + staircase immediately smells like alcohol. Would not recommend and would avoid at all cost. I ended up at Freyja guesthouse as the noise was unbearable - I lost money here and paid a premium on sorting out new accommodation last minute.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay. The location is really nice and the environment is nice too.

It has a good location near the sea and the hostel have a restaurant and bar can help u meet many interesting people quickly

My second time being here and everything is lovely as usual
