"We really enjoyed our stay here. Got a free roomupgrade, excellence service. The wifi didn't work and when then notice they did everything right away to fix it. If im wver back in coron, definitely would stay here again!"

"Filipino hospitality is second to none. The people are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. So what makes the staff at the Funny Lion so special. Well, they simply go that extra mile. On our first morning, we almost missed breakfast, but fortunately the staff noticed we hadn’t been in and gave us a call to remind us the breakfast room would be closing soon. When they heard we had an early morning tour the next day, they checked we were OK for breakfast, they reminded us to pick up some beach towels (we had forgotten) and checked we had everything we needed. The hotel itself is also nice with two restaurants and a rooftop bar. The main restaurant does a buffet on Wednesdays and Saturdays. There’s a fair range of food, but I thought there could have been a few more Filipino dishes to try. The Mexican restaurant was also OK. The starters were very tasty especially the ceviche type dishes. The mains weren’t bad but it would have been even better had the dishes been a bit more varied. The rooftop bar was probably my favourite of the three. You can lay in one of the two the mini jacuzzi-type pools and sip a cocktail while watching the sun set. It’s worth taking advantage of their happy hour (5-7pm) where they do a BOGOF on their signature cocktails (very good) or 4 beers for the price of 3. Their pizzas in the bar are pretty decent too. They are individual pizzas so if you’re hungry one might not be enough. As for the room, it was OK. I think we should have paid a little more and gone for a better room, but it was fine. It was pretty standard with a mini-bar, TV , air-con and safe. The nice thing was the freshly cooked biscuits they would leave us every day. Those, the lovely welcome and departure gifts plus the truly excellent service makes the Funny Lion a hotel I would most definitely recommend."

"I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world, and this one truly stands out. The location is perfect, close to the city center, making it very convenient while still feeling relaxing. What really sets this hotel apart is the staff. They are absolutely out of this world, incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. They pay attention to every detail and can arrange just about anything you need, always with a smile. The rooms are clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The pool area is large and well maintained, with plenty of seating around it, making it a great place to relax after a day out. Overall, this was an amazing experience from start to finish. If you’re staying in Coron, this is the place to stay, no question about it."

"Butter sweet really my mother passed away after the first day we checked in staff were phenomenal caring and attentive front desk and Esperanza who came to Assist at the hospital - everyone was supportive and helpful - and for that I am eternally grateful- bathroom could have been cleaner - but that’s being critical x"

"Впечатления от отеля не однозначные. Из плюсов - вполне чисто, за исключением традиционного для Филиппин игнорирования полных пепельниц, которые вроде и в зоне для курения, но и рядом с общей лестницей. Неплохой уютный ресторанчик на втором этаже. Но вот количество этажей, а точнее лестниц по ним, это отдельная история. Отель явно строили тайком от архитектора. О эргономике тоже ни кто не думал. И если у вас номер ”с видом на бассейн”, готовьтесь к интенсивным кардио нагрузкам. Потому что забираться придётся очень высоко, и по высоким ступеням. Бассейн на 4 этаже. Довольно холодный, так как скрыт от солнца совсем, там есть ещё и пятый этаж. С пятого этажа видно крыши. Если курите, не вздумайте брать 5 этаж. Так как зона для курения между 1 и 2 этажами. Про лестницы даже снял видео, но тут только фото."

"Довольно старый отель, с устаревшими номерами. Плохо работает свет, плохо охлаждает кондиционер, слабый напор воды в душе. Но при этом чисто. Завтраки неплохие- 150-180 песо, есть возможность заказать трансфер в/из аэропорта за 250 песо с человека."

"We stayed here for 3 nights. The pools are big and clean. Most staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is OK for basic needs. It is about 15 mins to get to the downtown area by a tricycle/TuTu. I also stayed a night in another hotel Corona Westown Resort which is only 3 mins away from here. I would definitely choose here again on my next visit."

"ยกเว้นที่แย่กว่านั้นเล็กน้อยไม่มีข้อเสียอื่น ๆ เลยจริงๆ! ใช้เวลาประมาณ 20 นาทีในการนั่งในเขตเมือง มีถนนสองสาย ทางที่ไม่ดีหนึ่งทาง และทางดีหนึ่งทาง ถนนที่ดีนั้นดีกว่าถนนสู่บ่อน้ำพุร้อนมาก! แต่สภาพแวดล้อมของ Wizard of Oz ก็สวยงามไม่แพ้กัน! นกและดอกไม้ดีเกินกว่าจะถ่ายรูปกระท่อมไม้ซุงอิสระอาหารเช้าดีมากบริการดีมากแผนกต้อนรับสามารถช่วยจองรถรับส่งและจองแผนการเดินทางราคานี้รักจริง! คนจองมา 3 คน ดีจริง มีเตียงใหญ่! ถ้าคุณไม่กลัวระยะทาง ก็สามารถอยู่ที่นี่ได้!"
