This is a good hotel but SmartTV did not have other APPs such as Netflix, YouTube etc for watching. Bath room/ toilet doors have no lock.

This room was amazing for the price. I asked a quiet area of the hotel and was put on the 12th floor at the end of a corridor and couldn’t hear a thing. Staff were efficient and quick to respond. Room was super spacious - modern bathroom with bath (from which you can view the tv!) and separate shower. Comfortable sofa. Lots of space. Handy mirror angles. Only downside was I don’t think the room had been cleaned in a couple of weeks / hasn’t had guests because it was VERY dusty. And the milk curdled in my tea and left it ‘chunky’ which was fairly rank. Aside from that would recommend and would go back.

Very convenient location, easy accessible from railway station of Reading. Service is good.

When we first reached the front desk the two staff weren’t paying any attention to us. The room was clean but needs maintenance. Location was great. Would recommend

Two lifts out of three not working. Remaining one had no light except the glow from the control panel. We were floor 9. Lift took us to 4, then 13, then 10, then 4, then basement, and back to ground floor. My wife has claustrophobia and does not like small dark enclosed spaces. Helpful staff led us through to next-door Ibis where lifts were working and illuminated, and gave us a card to use them. Price of Snickers bar and similar items is £2.49. Costs 99p in small store just along the road. Room was OK when we finally got to it, but initial experience puts us off using Novotel again.

staff cool, assigned room on low floor next to a flat roof with unpleasant view! after complaining, change to a better floor and open distant view

Excellent location The shower water is too hot that can’t use No complimentary bottle water provide 

Staff are nice and helpful. Only the access card with failure from time to time.

The shower cubicle was on the small size. You have to be a size 8 to 12 to fit in the shower comfortably. It was disappointing 😞

Good location, good breakfast, nice person, a little bit noise on Saturday night, too hot in room, no air conditioning.

The swimming pool is in use! Great to have it. The room is big for family room

Leg got itchy after sleep on the bed. Carpet looks old. Service and breakfast is good.
