Excellent hotel in every way. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. I inquired as to the name of a beautiful tree at the entrance to their inner garden. The young lady at reception didn’t know but when I returned several hours later she had all the info about this lovely Judas tree including pictures. Best breakfast (included) Great location Good recommendations for restaurants Rooms are spacious The building is intriguing; likely was a monastery or someone’s castle
Consigliatissimo.
The NH Ravenna hotel is set in the charming old town and just a short walk away from Ravenna’s top sites, shops, and restaurants. Guests can walk to the 8 different UNESCO World Heritage monuments and the train station is two minutes away on foot, providing access to all of the nearby attractions. NH Ravenna has 84 elegant rooms, some of which come with lovely city views. There is a TV, minibar, and free Wi-Fi in each room, while many have extra-wide tables, perfect for our business guests. There are also connecting rooms available for families and groups, or guests can stay in the 4th-floor Suite which has two bathrooms and a separate sitting room. Every morning, guests can enjoy a large breakfast buffet that includes a number of sweet and savory options served alongside your favorite morning beverages. In the afternoons and evenings, our traditional Italian restaurant serves local and regional fare, with a special focus on cuisine from the Emilia Romagna region. For a casual drink, we have an elegant cocktail bar which is the perfect space in which to unwind. There is also a self-service Open Bar if you would like a snack. Additionally, the hotel has two meeting rooms for up to 180 people.
We stayed 2 nites prior to cruise departure. Very nice basic European hotel. Not fancy, but had some character. Good location, quiet neighborhood, we walked from train station to hotel (a little challenging with all the cobblestone), and walked everywhere in Ravenna. Loved the city - so charming. Its close to some of the famous mosaics. There are restaurants nearby and a market with a little coop grocery just a couple blocks away. Staff was SO friendly and helpful. They arranged transport to the port for us and coordinated everything the morning of departure (there were several parties in various transport vans all leaving around the same time - they kept track of van arrivals and what party was booked on what van, etc.). Very European - different than US hotels - everything was small (small elevator, small room & bathroom), temperature was a little warmer than I'm accustomed to in US (not sure if AC was on yet in early June?). Windows opened though so we could get some fresh air in the eve. Breakfast was Great! Buffet downstairs, had lots to choose from, incredible pastries and juices, cheeses, eggs, sausages, yogurt, fruit, etc. The staff was friendly and kept the food well stocked. So convenient.
The B&B Hotel is in a residential area of Ravenna, 5 minutes to the centre of the city by bus or a 30 minute walk. There is a large free car park. Our room was clean and comfortable with a small bathroom, all modern and functional. The compact buffet breakfast area was well organised with a reasonable supply of cereals, cold meat, cheese etc. and self-serve tea and coffee from a machine. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Beer and soft drinks were available from a vending machine. Several family restaurants and cafes were within walking distance.
This hotel is not in town, where all the site seeing, it’s 15 minutes drive and was no issue for me because I had a rental car. It’s in a relaxed area, looking over kids park. It has a shuttle van , but pricey. Helpful staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and generous breakfast, did I mention quality coffee. There is no gym. I like this hotel. C U Around

ผผู้เข้าพัก Problema risolto dopo averlo segnalato in reception. Hotel consigliato
Our party of five had two rooms at the Mosaico prior to embarking on a cruise. It's hard to review this stay as there were two very distinct elements I'd rate very differently. Upon arrival, we were told our rooms were in the Residence Mosaico and we just had to 'turn right and walk a few minutes'. It was nearly half a mile on busy roads, at one point with no sidewalks, crossing at blind corners, all while lugging suitcases and trying to make sure our children were not run over. That part of the experience was HORRID. We didn't get good directions and had to pull out google maps to find the building, and there was no warning when we booked or any expectations set for this. That said, once we got to that building we were pleased. Each 'room' on the fourth floor was actually a full apartment with very high beamed ceilings, full kitchen, a washing machine in the bath, balcony and two bedrooms each. They were clean and quiet, with good AC, and we enjoyed the rooms...one we got there. It was a ten minute walk into Ravenna and once we knew how to find the building, we were ok (though hauling the suitcases back to the lobby to check out the next day was again rough). While I might stay there again, I would be sure to find out the location of my room before I paid off the taxi and unloaded everything half a mile away. The receptionist needs to give clearer directions (yes, it was 'turn right' but it was SO much farther than expected we kept thinking we'd missed it because surely it couldn't be that far. It's far enough that a shuttle should be offered when you have bags, at check in and check out.
