I stayed at Green hotel for the 90 km "Öppet spår" Vasaloppet and I was very happy with the package and the service. The food, the pasta dinner the night before, the lovely breakfast early in the morning. If anything I would have wished for a bus service back from Mora also, maybe at two set times. SJ does not work properly and there was 4 hours between the trains and no buses were provided by SJ for the cancelled times. This is not the fault if the hotel, however if possible this service would have been super. The front desk is very helpful with recommendations for the surroundings and answering all kind of questions. I would definitively stay here again!

Råttor i taket, väldigt kallt, bode på under våningen och vi låg lyssnade när dom över var på toa, och trodde dom vilken sek skulle komma genom taket. Höll i gång till halva natten., nog den sämsta frukost vi ätit på något hotell, hade öppet till 11 men ändå så dåligt uppfyllt. Inget hotell jag recomendera. Trevliga damer i reseptionen men frågade inte hur det varit att bo hos dom. Tuffa nyckeringar.

Points positifs : belle chambre dans vaguement séparé indépendant , vue superbe , bonne literie , décoration sobre , chambre et salle de bains très propres . Points négatifs : le dîner hors de prix au regard de la qualité des plats (585 kr soit environ 58 euros par personne ) hors boisson et buffet du petit déjeuner vraiment très moyen (on a l’impression d’une restauration collective industrielle). Donc vraiment déçus à ce niveau . Les points forts sont l’hôtel, la situation et la vue sur le lac, en revanche ne dînez pas dans cet établissement, en tant que français vous serez vraiment déçus ... Au final pour 2 personnes : 2805 kr (soit environ 280 euros ), comprenant le dîner qui nous a coûté 1530 euros (c’est là où vraiment ça nous a fait mal !)

Back home after a few magical days at the Green hotel. The view over lake Siljan beats everything. I never get tired of following lake Siljan's changes during the day and night. The food is prepared with a lot of love and care and with beautiful arrangements. The hotel's breakfast buffet has everything I could wish for. From freshly squeezed juice, to REAL scrambled eggs and homemade liver pate and divine bread. Thank you to all the staff for a very nice and comfortable stay!

Mycket vackert hotell med underbar utsikt. Basic rum var litet, rent och fint men alldeles för litet.
Middagen var god men alldeles för lite mat.
