We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here My family stayed in the iguana suites which were super clean and beautiful each with a balcony where you could view wildlife daily all around including 3 types of monkeys, lizards and birds. Howler monkeys woke us up most mornings which was a bit scary sounding. Long walk up/down to beach but doable and you definitely need a 4x4 vehicle to drive there. The staff was great including Chris and Andres. Best drinks we had on the whole trip. However our only complaint was that their hours were not great and they were closed a few times when we wete told they’d be open. No problem though as there were plenty of great restaurants and shops in walking distance. I’d highly recommend.

We very much liked the layout of the room as a suite with refrigerator, stove top, microwave and sofa . The room was very comfortable for 3 people. The setting is lovely with wildlife nearby and accessible roomy pool areas. The setup of the hotel with the reception not at ground level made it feel less welcoming than other hotels since you did not pass through there to leave the hotel. We also would recommend that breakfast start before 7 AM since tour pick ups are often early.

We just finished a week at the jungle Vista hotel and couldn't recommend it highly enough. The staff were warm and super helpful. The rooms were super clean and well taken care of. The restaurant staff for breakfast each morning and for drinks by the pool were again lovely. Thank you Juan, Emily, and the rest of the team Our room backed right up to a little valley that was loaded with monkeys so we got to see plenty of wildlife right from our room. There are two nice beaches within walking distance but be sure to ask the staff to have a taxi come pick you up because the climb back of the hill quite strenuous in the heat. They were also helpful in arranging activities above and beyond what we had pre-booked.

Very nice, new, clean, modern hotel! Tucan apt was perfect for family of 4. Staff was helpful and friendly. On-site restaurant was super convenient. Pool was lovely (but cold!), walkable distance to beach and town if you’re up for climbing some hills. The highlight was the wildlife viewable from the balcony……right outside your window! Only complaint was the road noise, thin walls and lots of motorbikes might be a problem for light sleepers.

Hotel was great! Our family of six stayed very comfortably in two rooms for three nights. Breakfast and lunch at the restaurant was good as well as the service. We saw lots of monkeys and toucans outside our balcony. It was a short walk to some good restaurants for dinner. We walked to the beach for a few hours however it was quite a hike. Would definitely recommend and would stay at this hotel again.

Great place, wonderful service, feels like we had it to ourselves, easy access to pools and restaurant, great view, but not right by the beach - but we still walked it. Good exercise coming back up the hill!

Everything about this property was fantastic. The Team that welcomes you at the front desk remember your name, and are very helpful. I like to walk places and was able to do so safely and easily. The restaurant on-site was delicious. Highly recommend.

Andrés greeted us and was extra helpful! We were in Toucan tower 1. Excellent king bed. Breakfast was standard CR fare. Pool is nice but very chlorinated. Walking distance up the hill to rather expensive restaurants. Steep walk downhill to the Playitas beach. If you don't have a car take the bus to/from Quepos or Manuel Antonio for 385 colones/70 cents.

Excellent service! Great rooms! View of the monkeys in the morning! And sometimes you can see the monkeys in the afternoon on your balcony. Emily at front desk was a great help! I would definitely come back. Breakfast was great and we enjoyed dinner at the hotel as well.
