Hotel Mercurio - Caters to Gay Men

Hotel Mercurio is the best *** Hotel in Puerto Vallarta,I love the full breakfast in the morning and The daily live music And Sunday Funday, Beers,Boys & Burgers is incredible with beautiful GO go boys. You can walk anywhere in minutes. in the heart of Zona Romantica.

I was at the "Bistro Mercurio," their poolside bar and restaurant for a full afternoon. My friend and I ate and had drinks, and then a swim. Even though not guests of the hotel, the front desk gave us towels with no cover charge. The food was terrific and reasonably priced. The listed special, chicken pasta with a glass of wine, was posted at $210 Mxn, a real bargain (the fuller menu cost a little more but was not outrageously priced). Service was friendly. For still being the tail end of the busy season, the area was very peaceful. It was a delightful escape from the tourist crowds, only a block from the pier, a real hidden gem..

Stayed 6 nights and no complaints. It is older but everything works. No balcony but has nice courtyard. Quiet at night. Loved the breakfasts. Nice to be able to order drink or other food too! Location can't be beat. Friendly staff. Definitely would stay again.

I almost hate to post a review because if everyone knows how great this place is then it will be even harder to get a room! I just returned from 9 days at Mercurio, my 3rd time there this year. I love this place. Paul the owner is always around, the staff is the best, the place is spotless, the food is delicious, the beds are comfy, the ac is perfect and the location could not be better. Joselo, Gabriel, Israel, Monica, Adam, Paulette, David, Junior, Jorge, Briam, Rafael, all top notch. I’ve missed some names and I apologize. See you guys soon!

I booked a ten night say at this hotel and it is worth every penny! I will be back here when i go to Puerto Vallarta again, without hesitation. This hotel is in the middle of EVERYTHING. The guests ages range from in their 20's to 70's. The rooms are nice and cozy, but dated. The sheet are clean, the beds are comfortable, the pillows are fluffy, the floors are spotless, the bathrooms are clean and there is fresh paint on the walls too! The staff members are all gems and take this hotel to a new level! Jorge is your best friend here, he runs the bar and makes excellent drinks and has knowledge of the town like no other, listen to him and you will never be steered in the wrong direction. As for the rest of the staff, one is better than the other. Briam and Rafael work the bar as well they are FUN to hang around and joke with. They are very knowledgable as well, ask them anything. Jose and Adam Jr. work in the morning and serve breakfast by the pool, they very sweet and will get you anything. Joselo and Israel work the front desk they are always with a smile and warm greeting. you will meet the cleaning staff and kitchen staff as well, if you speak Spanish you will have a blast with them too. Im telling you this place has the best people working it morning, noon and night! The food is very good and they are American sized portions at a great price! Sunday is the big party day, EVERYONE shows up at this party; locals, guests, other travelers. They have happy hour foods and drinks, music, go-go dancers, singers and other various entertainers as well from around town. All in all, this is one of the best hotel experiences I ever had!

A really nice hotel right in the heart of PV. Comfortable rooms, a chilled vibe and the food (especially the breakfast) is excellent. The staff are kind and welcoming, including to solo travellers. From talking to other visitors in PV the nightly rates are also very reasonable.
