Servatur Casablanca Suites & Spa - Adults Only

We visited in late September 2024. This was our first experience at a this hotel. Facilities: overall very impressive. The pool outside is a salt water alongside the hot tub, however mostly clean and looked after. Rooms were spotless and cleaned every day by staff. Rooms were huge with facilities to cook inside. Spa was overall impressive however did need a little TLC (paint coming off roof and the wall, and paint chipping from the pool floor). However nice sauna and steam room. This is free to customers 1h per day. Food: Breakfast was included with our stay and had a great range. Personal chef making pancakes upon request. The bar outside the pool and the bar on the roof are also great. We got our drinks in the happy hour which were very reasonably priced. Overall was great. Only down sides (minor stuff) was the spa TLC and the stairs to the shopping mall from the hotel are huge - definitely get a sweat on coming back up them (wouldn’t recommend for anyone disabled). Would definitely recommend this hotel for a couple get away.

First off, I’ve really enjoyed my stay here. Mainly due to the friendliness of the staff, who have actually been some of the friendliest people I’ve come across on the Spanish islands. Right down to the maids, who are also brilliant. And the hotels incredibly relaxed environment. There’s no rushing for sun-beds when you want one, there’s always plenty of room at breakfast. The food is lovely, only ate at the snack bar once or twice. But even that was good quality food. Better than most lunches we had when we were eating out. The breakfast is brilliant, plenty of choice and ready made omelettes to order. Impressive. The location is good in my opinion, close enough to the shopping centres but not too close either. The stairs are a pain but you should really be knowing that before you arrive. Taxis are cheap enough anyway. Lovely view from the room, especially on an evening. It is, however. Without its faults. The hotel itself is in need of some TLC. Chipped off wood by the side of our jacuzzi, holes in the shower and just general lack of maintenance over the years. (see pictures) The aircon would cut out in the night, then come back on rather loudly and wake you up. The cleaning staff using the lifts all day with dirty buckets they’d used to clean rooms, not their fault but I’ve never seen hotel staff use the lifts as much I’ve seen this past week. Normally you’d have a cleaning cupboard on every floor so staff wouldn’t have to move around so much with their equipment. All things that overall don’t impact your stay too much, but they do add up. To conclude then, I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone. But it would be up for a debate if I’d actually return.

Fantastic hotel, great location, superb service, friend staff, clean and amazing large balconies!! Comfortable and well equipped rooms with comfy beds (albeit 2 singles pushed together), fabulous breakfasts!! Definitely recommend upgrading to superior room with large balcony - comes with jacuzzi, sun loungers and table & chairs giving you your own personal solarium - be prepared though as the sun doesn’t come in the balcony until about noon. Breakfasts are fantastic lots if fresh and good variety of foods with welcoming & friendly staff! Perfect omelettes cooked fresh to your liking, glass of Prosecco available and variety of fresh juices and other hot drinks. Hotel was clean and well maintained, reception staff very welcoming, helpful & friendly! Rooms were fabulous size with added touches of dressing gown, chocolates and Prosecco for us on arrival - a lovely touch as this was our honeymoon! Few reviews mention the 166 steps - this is nothing to do with this hotel, all the main hotels are built into the sides of rocks which are high up - the steps down are fine coming back is another story so if you can’t manage then grab a taxi for €4 - do not be put off this is a gem of a hotel!! We enjoyed it so much we have booked to go again next year!

We’ve just returned from a wonderful stay here and had to leave a review to compliment the hotel and the staff. The rooms were spacious, good AC, the mini pool on the balcony was wonderful and the room had everything we needed. We selected a large balcony and I’d recommend this to everyone, our pool was in complete privacy. With a table and chairs and 2 loungers. The food selection, quality and service were spectacular. Alberto and Julio were the most friendly, attentive staff and it was some of the best food we’ve ever had half board. You book your spot for dinner so it’s never too busy or overwhelming, It was an a La carte menu so mains were delivered to you at the table. Starters and desserts were buffet style and it was all fresh and high quality. Only criticism is lshower in our room was a bit tired but housekeeping were amazing, loly in particular always made the room up with such care and attention to detail. Fresh towels daily and we were provided beach towels, robes and slippers on arrival. Location is perfect, amazing views from the rooms, 169 steps down to Puerto Rico where you’ll find all the shops and restaurants. A taxi back is about €4 (we did that every time, we weren’t going to attempt the stairs back up in the heat!) It’s a 15/20 min walk to the port/beach where you can get a boat trip. We got a taxi for €15 to Puerto Mogan on Friday morning for the markets and we explored “Little Venice” it was so beautiful. Well worth a visit! There’s taxi points everywhere which make it so easy to jump in one. We’ve had one of the best holidays, wish we’d stayed longer because staff, hotel and location were all exceptional.

I must say this is one of the best hotels we stayed. Staff are so friendly and helpful nothing is to hard you them. Cleanliness is second to none. Sala,Ruben,Alberto,Amanda was fantastic waiter's and waitresses. If you're look to holiday in Gran canaria you must book here. Food is fantastic cooked fresh every day This Hotel is 5 star

Second time in Puerto Rico but first time staying in Casablanca. Absolutely amazing hotel. Breakfast was grand, something for everyone. Hotel was so clean, rooms where cleaned every day, towels changed every day. Cleaning staff where such nice people. We stayed on 7th floor with larger balcony, loved the extra space for sunbathing. Whirlpool bath on balcony was a nice touch to cool down. We had food few times from pool bar and it was good. Loved the roof top bar, went up every night for few before bed, so relaxing. Bar man on roof top was lovely, his cocktails were great took advantage of discounted massage in the spa and glad we did. Spa is lovely has everything. A lot of reviews says about the steps, we walked up an down most days and every night definitely not as bad as some reviews make out. Close to shops lovely dander to the beach. Honestly love love love Casablanca and can't wait to return

What a gem of a hotel! The staff are always smiling and very friendly. We booked a superior junior suite on a high floor, we had room 807 on floor 8, just below the chill out bar. The view was stunning and the amenities perfect. The suite : Lovely bathroom with walking shower and a hairdryer. Large area with storage for bags and clothes with hangers 2 single beds pushed together, we had the best sleep very comfortable TV, air-con, kettle, filter coffee machine, hob, fridge with small freezer section, toaster and all the glasses, plates, pans etc you could require. The balcony was the best part with a double spa tub, took around 20 mins to fill over the jets and such a lovely treat. We had robes, slippers, oh and a bottle of water and bubbles in the fridge on arrival. The cleaning guys work very hard and the room and whole hotel was spotless! We went B&B the food was ok nothing wow except the omelette which was made specifically with your choice of ingredients. The usual array of cooked breakfast and a large choice of the continental breakfast, I loved the coffee also. The pool area was lovely lots of beds and each with a little table, the bar area was shaded and cool and the drinks good value. The rooftop chill out terrace was lovely a great space to catch the early morning sun with beds, seating oh and an outdoor shower, the for sunset drinks the view is stunning. We used the Mercadona for our food and drinks for the room, by far cheaper than the shops in the main shopping centre below so worth the walk, around 20 mins up past the new shopping centre Mogan. Which has a great selection of clothes shops etc… We walked to the beach which is Beautiful, there are sunbeds on the beach and around on the wall. Another time we walked to Amadores beach, which to be honest wasn’t at all what we expected but still pretty and worth the coastal walk, around 30 mins from our hotel, we are quite fast walkers I guess so maybe around a 40 min walk. There’s a massive choice for food and drinks in the main shopping area, we visited several with no complaints, the food, drinks and value was great. We would recommend Casablanca to anyone looking for a beautiful room with great staff and amenities!

Just returned from this hotel. Absolutely amazing. The staff in all departments are really friendly. The hotel is spotless. Reception area is very clean and the decor throughout the hotel is lovely. We had a superior junior suite on the 4th floor. Views from the balcony were stunning. You get the sun from 11.30 till 7.30. Pool area is lovely. Always managed to get a sunbed at anytime of the day. Food is good. Breakfast has plenty of choices. Full English or continental. Evening meal is very good. You choose your own starters and sweets. Order your main course. This is cooked to order. No complaints about anything. We would definitely stay again.

Was nervous as I’d never been to Gran Canaria or away on my own but this was just what was needed. Everyone was really friendly and the facilities at the hotel were great. Spa, gym, rooftop bar, pool, etc. The location was great, with just a 10 minute walk near to restaurants, bars, cafes, etc. and also walks to beaches not far. Recommendations would be to watch the sunset at Amadores beach with a sangria; to go and eat fish at Grill Costa Mar on seafront and to go explore Mogan Mall. Only downside of the hotel was the breakfasts. I’d stay here again but on a room only basis. The breakfasts were not good. I could only stomach the beans and hash browns. One day there was Spanish tortilla, which I typicallly love, but this just tasted soooooo salty. Although plenty of choice, I wasn’t keen. I’d stay again but there are PLENTY of nice places nearby for breakfast (including La Mattina, next to Mogan Mall)
