Ibis Provins ★★★

"Passing through Provins for one night, from September 29th to 30th, 2025, to visit our friends Alain and Martine from the Lutèce Running Club, we booked a room through the Accor Group, of which we are members, at the Ibis*** hotel, 77 avenue du Général de Gaulle. This hotel-restaurant is somewhat secluded, 1.5 km from the town center, in a green and secure setting, with ample free parking (access code), on the Paris-Troyes route, not far from the historic center and the medieval city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. When we booked with a flexible rate, only one standard room with two single beds was available, but upon arrival, the friendly reception staff found us a standard room with a double bed from among their 49 rooms. We were shown to room 18, on the ground floor. A small, cozy, and practical room with Sweet Bed by Ibis bedding, a desk, Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom with a hairdryer and toiletries. We explored the city with our friends, had lunch at their home in the neighboring town of Sainte-Colombe, and then dinner at the hotel restaurant. The restaurant has a modern decor and offers a classic three-course meal. A good continental breakfast buffet is also available. This hotel is economical and friendly, and is mainly frequented by business travelers. It has a bar and a fully equipped, modular 50 m² meeting room. Our bill for the room, taxes, and meals came to €170.31."
