Blue Ivy is a very nice hotel with a great location in Protaras area. I would reccomend it mainly for families. It has one pool for adults and one pool for kids. The adults pool is nice but I expected it a bit larger for the size of the hotel... The restaurant is exactly near the adults pool and it's very decent. Breakfast is superb and staff is super nice. Overall I had a good experience.

Stayed for a week here, from 2nd October 2023. After a disastrous journey from Manchester that took 12½ hrs (thanks baggage handlers) We got to the hotel at 4am ! ,but we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who gave us drinks and sandwiches without us even asking, great start!. We were bed & breakfast, so after a few hours sleep we were up for breakfast. It was superb, ranging from buffet style English breakfast, any variation of egg cooked to your liking, pancakes, fresh fruit, cereal etc. We had a chat with the general manager on day two and were given a voucher for a free evening meal and drinks also (which was superb). Hotel sunbeds and daybeds are available all day, not the plastic ones either... Day beds you need to be up early for, but we got sunbeds at 3pm if we'd been out for the day. The pool area is immaculate, adult only pool and a separate children's pool too, both in perfect condition The hotel staff can't do enough for you, extremely pleasant, rooms serviced everyday, and little shortbreads with a goodnight card card put in your room in the evening, very nice touch. We had a standard room which was actually amazing ! Super king size bed, 55" telly on the wall (plugged the firestick into that as free WiFi in every room) A nice couch, 2 comfy chairs. And a fold out single chair, plenty of tea/coffee facilities and a "tassino" coffee maker, lovely bathroom with amazing rainforest shower Supermarket and "the *****" 4 mins walk to the right and the beach and some restaurants 5-6 mins walk to the left. All in all, a definite hotel to return too !! Many thanks Blue Ivy

The blue ivy hotel is by far the best hotel in Cyprus on arrival you are met by David the head receptionist we arrived late evening and was greeted with a drink and sandwiches and David makes you feel relaxed from that moment with his warmth and tells you anything you want don’t hesitate to ask the following morning we met nicos the owner who greeted us and sat and spoke to us and really made us feel comfortable the breakfast is the best I have ever had the staff at breakfast was brilliant bring you the coffee or tea the lunch menu give that special touch instead of a buffet with plenty to choose from the menu the large pork chop is outstanding and again the staff give you 5star service and to the evening buffet again outstanding food with a different theme every night with another 5star service and the to the bar staff the staff at the pool bar will bend over backwards to keep everyone happy with great cocktails the life guard even gets involved bringing light refreshments around the pool to you another excellent service the bar in the hotel again 5 star service from the head barman the rooms were spotless everyday when you went back to your room the house staff are excellent they keep the hotel spotless throughout the whole hotel this hotel is rated 4 star it is well underrated if they done a 10 star rating this would be up there going to book next year hats of to nico and his staff thank you all for a wonderful week

I can't find the words to thank Nicos, David, Nicolai and all the staff at blue Ivy, its not just an amazing hotel it has a real family feel to it. When we arrived at 1.00am in the morning David and Vlad were there to welcome us with a drink and a much needed sandwich( David your a ) The rooms are spotless, airy and very clean, the maids are constantly cleaning. We had our first meal from the A la Càrte menu, as we were full board it was included... and the food was 10/10 the staff are very attentive and nothing is too much trouble, a nice cold glass of water is served with dinner and any drink you want they have, the prosecco is very nice. The dinner is amazing with a good selection of high quality food and beautifully presented and cooked. The beds are comfy and big, we slept well and woke to a beautiful morning fully refreshed. Whilst you have the usual race for a sunbed, you will usually manage to get one. The pool is very refreshing and a lovely relaxing swim awaits. This place is a little piece of heaven in Cyprus and if you like a game of backgammon Nicos is the man.... allegedly. See you next year all. Xxx

This was the third time back at this hotel and I am returning for a fourth and fifth time this year in May and in September. Everything about the hotel, staff and location is faultless. The rooms are perfect with fantastic views of the sea, the food is delightful, so much to choose from and so tasty. The staff cannot do enough for you. Comfy sunbeds, two pools. We will keep coming back here. Do yourselves a favour and book it asap. You will not be disappointed.

We've recently stayed at the Blu Ivy Hotel. One word, " OUTSTANDING " Our party travelled 22/07/2023 for 11 days rooms 102,202,212. The minute we arrived, we were greeted with a complimentary drink and the biggest smile from Nicos the Hotel Manager and David on reception, the smiles on all the staff are evident throughout. The Hotel was summed up perfectly by Davis, a 4☆ Hotel with a 5☆ experience, absolutely true. The attention to detail is nothing but amazing. The cleanliness ,room quality, dining experience, and the little added touches such as complimentary drinks by the pool and a cold flannel are superb. Mr Nicos has a vision on how a person's Holiday experience should be, his generosity is overwhelming, from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you so much for a Holiday of a lifetime. Got back last week having 11 nights in the blue ivy . The best and cleanest hotel I have stopped in on the island . Great staff lovely food breakfast top draw and pool area very well kept been back a week and want to go back The main Man Mr Nicos who really went the extra mile to ensure all guests are happy and comfortable and feed the best food 👌 Got married 17 years ago on the island trying to get back out in a few weeks to stop again. One of the best hotels I visited. Super welcoming and friendly staff. When we arrived they upgraded our room to a family suite for free, and we were welcomed with some welcome drinks and sandwiches as we arrived late. Food is so good and fresh, breakfast buffet is diverse and yummy. Ambience is so relaxing with live entertainment on the pool and in the evening. There are 2 pools one for adults and one for children. They also provide free towels for pool or for beach. Lunch on the pool is nice too. The location is so convenient, very close to the beach and at the same time close to the main street. Sitting on the balcony is so nice, specially if u have a street view as there is lovely wind and a busy street. Thank you for the great vacation we had and I would highly recommend it specially if ur a family.
