Hôtel un peu excentré de Sestriere et du loueur de skis, 500m des remontées mécaniques. Peu de choses à faire si on ne skie pas ! navettes peu fréquentes. Chambres très correctes bonne literie, télévision sans chaine française. Petit déjeuner très bien. Repas du soir correct mais le midi seulement une salade et une assiette de pâtes ou rizotto. Pas le buffet qui est en photo ! Personnel de salle agréables Rosa et Carlotta.

Ho soggiornato una notte in questo hotel con il mio ragazzo, abbiamo organizzato il weekend in base a questo regalo con Wonderbox, una notte in suite con vasca idromassaggio in camera; siamo arrivati e la stanza che ci hanno dato era una stanza grande, abbastanza bella ma non una suite e inoltre non vediamo la vasca idromassaggio come avevo visto nella foto del sito, allora informo la receptionist la quale mi dice che la foto può corrispondere ad un'altra camera ma comunque la vasca che avevamo era idromassaggio, a quel punto riempiamo d'acqua la vasca ma l'idromassaggio non funziona, chiamo la reception e mi dice che sarebbero venuti a controllare; passano 20 minuti e nessuno viene, allora richiamiamo e ci dicono ancora che ci avrebbero ricontattato ma passano altri 20 minuti e non succede niente. Se lo sono dimenticato e nessuno ci ha neanche chiesto più niente. Inoltre il letto era scomodissimo e abbiamo anche avuto freddo di notte perché non c'erano coperte a sufficienza. La colazione normale, non certo degna di un hotel a 4 stelle. Non lo consiglio assolutamente.

Hotel Torre was our base for a short family ski break in Sauze d’Oulx and it was a great choice for us all. The staff in every part of the hotel could not have been nicer or more helpful. Particular thanks to the lady who cleaned the rooms daily, doing an excellent job; and Sorin the shuttle bus driver who was kind and helpful, always available for lifts to and from the slopes. Our rooms were comfortable and spacious, quiet enough at night and while the beds were a little hard, we slept well. We enjoyed drinks in the bar before dinner and the staff in the restaurant were lovely and good natured. We stayed on a half board basis. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice, hot and cold; dinner was ok, the specially-cooked pastas were very good but the other options on the hot plate were a little on the cold side each night. There was a nice choice of salads however and the Italian rice and cheeses were great. It would I think have become a bit samey for any longer but for four nights, totally fine. The shuttle bus to Sportinia was an excellent inclusive addition and made that always-tiring trip from the slopes at the end of the day very straightforward. It would be better not to highlight the spa as somehow associated with the hotel. Hotel guests only receive a 10% discount so two hours in the spa is 18 euros per person. We enjoyed it on our final morning but it was really expensive especially as towels had to be hired at 5 Euros a piece and swim caps too had we not brought our own. In summary - we would return from a similar break, particularly because of the lovely staff.
