Perfect location to explore Prague, just minutes away from the Old Town Square, where there are plenty of restaurants, bars, cafes and of course, the only Astronomical Clock in the world. Room was comfortable but small, maid service was daily. Horrible shower curtain that clings to you - needs replacing with a screen. TV available but not many channels in English. No tea or coffee making facilities but a kettle can be obtained from reception (if one is available) so it's best to take your own, along with coffee, teabags and mugs. Milk is available at the mini market directly opposite the hotel. Hot and cold buffet breakfast is provided, there is plenty to eat on offer, from cereal, yoghurt etc to bacon, sausages, fried eggs, salad, toast and so on. Good to fill up on before exploring. You will need to pay the city tax upon arrival (can't remember how much it was). Despite the hotel having a "quiet time zone" between 10pm and 8am there were plenty of noisy guests that ignored this. Safe provided in wardrobe, with extra blankets. Extra pillows were provided after asking at Reception. Windows can be opened for fresh air (massive plus)! Generally a positive experience (although my husband said there was a musty smell on the staircase) and good value for money.
