My girlfriend and I stayed at Chaquacabana for 2 nights..worst 2 nights. Here's a list of all the issues encountered; • Upon checking in, an hour after the hotel's check in time, we still had to wait 20 minutes before actually being able to enter the room as it still wasn't ready. • When we got into the room, the living room area was nice, really neat. A few steps in, we realized the floor tiles were broken but neatly hidden under a rug. • Bedroom door handle was broken. • Closet door was completely broken off of the track. So unable to properly open or close. Just leaned up to the side of the wall. • Bathroom tiles were dirty. Bathroom sink was totally worn out and in need of a paint job. • A couple lights weren't working. • Both nights we heard a leaking/dripping sound but couldn't figure out where it was coming from. On the morning of checkout, while packing up, I noticed a bag of my (dry) clothes that was in the closet, was now completely soaked. It turned out to be the water heater leaking behind the closet and someone was aware of the leak because a towel was placed beneath the water heater to hold the water that's leaking. This was the breaking point for us. To totally ruin our clothes was just unacceptable. The towel being their ”fix” to a heavy leak was blatantly disgusting. • We went to the front desk immediately and asked to speak to a manager and there wasn't one available. We needed a manager to void a charge at the restaurant too and again, none available. We made our complaints to the lady at the front desk but I don't believe that a stay at Chaquacabana would ever be worth the money. 0/10 would never recommend.
Stayed at the Holiday Inn for a few days a couple months ago. The hotel is in a great location, close to the airport, main highway and the two major malls in the area (Trinicity and East Gates). Buffet breakfast is included and has a good variety. The food and coffee was fresh and tasty. Customer service, housekeeping and front desk reception were great. The hotel really seems to cater more to a business clientele and pilots. There are no dinner options or a sit down restaurant as such and in general, lacks any luxurious amenities. The airport shuttle is great, and it also can transport you to and from any close shopping areas/grocery. The rooms are clean and spacious. Beds and pillows were comfortable.
Brilliant short stay. I really appreciated the checkout time of 1pm. Unlike most hotels you have to check out by 10am-11am. Shame we missed the paid breakfast. No one at check in advised us the process of pre ordering breakfast so thar was disappointing. The noise from next door was very loud so walls are very thin. Didn't get much sleep then was woken up by workers who was doing work on hotel. If you can stay elsewhere I would recommend to get a decent night's sleep
Was picked up at piarco by vajjanti who was delightful the room was comfortable and spacious equipped with TV and own shower and toilet. The area by the pool was a great touch. Both hosts were helpful and pleasant up untill a couple days before the end of our stay. The male host stated he was having a lime but never stated we could not be in the seating area when his guests arrive. So on the day in question when his guests arrived we were in the seating area when he spproached us and in no uncertain terms stated that we need to remove ourselves from the area and in his own words ”MY PLACE MY SPACE” this was extremely rude in the way it was said and made us feel uncomfortable and to be honest quite annoyed as we were PAYING GUESTS and to be basically told at 6pm we have to go to our rooms like children much less the rudeness of it. This could've been handled differently as in he could've asked us if its OK if we could leave that area free at whatever day and time in advance but the comment of ”MY PLACE MY SPACE” left a bad taste in our mouth! We paid to be in that space and we're made to feel like we were nothing! This was the only issue but at the same time it brought our mood right down and we couldn't wait to leave after that point. I must point out that the female host was absolutely lovely🇹🇹

ผผู้เข้าพักThe price for the hotel is decent for the quality it offers, but the hotel makes its money possibly with low-quality food in the bar, pool, and restaurant without any local choices. It is not clear which places are deigning to for example a cigar and the closeness to the harbor with its construction work is unique.
Customer service is a 10. Every single staff member was helpful and courteous. My room was spotless, beds were luxurious and inviting. Breakfast buffet was scrumptious, everything was freshly made. Pool was clean and the perfect temperature. Location is extremely convenient. Highly recommend this hotel ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The last time I experienced a curfew was in 1990. How is it, as a hotel guest, who decided to have a late night out, I was unable to get back in to the hotel? I had to sleep in my car when I returned at 3:30am, there was no staff on site and all entrances to the lobby/hotel were locked. This is truly unacceptable. I will take my business elsewhere where security consists of a human and not locked doors.
The Radisson is a household name for my husband and family and the entire night shift is very hospitable from Security to Front Desk to Kitchen staff .Cassie ensured our food was ready on time when we ordered and Adrian ,Lesley and Nicholas ( Front desk staff ) are very articulate and knowledgeable and they were able to answer all our questions and concerns . Officer Woodley assisted us as soon as we entered the hotel and greeted us with a professional demeanor and i hope the night team keeps up the service
