"The hotel is located close to the main square. There is a tram stop just outside. Reception is up a flight of stairs from the restaurant. In fact, there is no lift and the handrails on the stairs do not go the whole way. The friendly staff member offered to help carry our cases up the stairs. Our room was at the back of the building. Apart from church bells it was quiet. Breakfast is served in the restaurant. Scrambled eggs are cooked to order plus a range of cheeses, meats, bread and fresh fruit salad. We were pleasantly surprised by the thank you gift of baked goodies."

"A spacious apartment with separate bedroom, toilet, bathroom and kitchen/lounge area. In a quiet area and easy walk to the Square and PU Brewery. Only negative point was the confusion of having to collect the key from a lockbox about 1,5km away, after having arrived at the apartment. Either move the key outside the apartment door OR (not ideal) make it VERY CLEAR on the instructions that the key is at a different location."

"The hotel is generally fine, but it needs a lot of TLC. A good dose of maintenance and minor repairs would give it a new look. Of course, the photos on *********** are quite misleading. Our room was fine, but it was very dark, with barely any sunlight coming in through the main window. However, the bathroom was separated by a hallway with a large window that let in light at dawn. The door to the room has glass that lets in all that early morning light, enough to wake you up, but not enough to illuminate the room throughout the day. The bathroom urgently needs to fix the screen; it didn't stay put and remained open all the time, leaving the floor soaked when showering. The bathtub had loose slats, and the shower head was completely broken; it wouldn't go up or down, or even stay on; you had to hold it constantly, which was very uncomfortable. The breakfast was average, somewhat hampered by the constant wasps. There's a children's play area where they can entertain themselves after breakfast. There's no elevator. Check-in/out is completely impersonal, done through an app, which, depending on the situation, can be good or bad. We could have avoided going to reception; we did it out of sheer formality, but the welcome was curt and brief, lacking much warmth. Overall, we were quite disappointed with the hotel, especially regarding the maintenance issue; it's a shame they let it deteriorate like this."
