A very pleasant stay. Nice welcome from the friendly staff. The room was a good size and very clean. An ideal location near the railway station and about a 20 minute walk to the cathedral and tower. Lovely hotel and a nice touch with the sweets in the room.

The method of entrance to the hotel and the fact that at 6.00 pm there was no receptionist is unacceptable to me. I needed a code to open the front door, which was not given to me as I did not have a password for the wifi system. The whole procedure was terrible and took 30 minutes. I had to lift my cases 45 steps to the top floor of the hotel. People may accept this lack of service, but it should be made clear when booking. There was no information in the hotel about the wonderful town - not even a map. Disgraceful.

Nice simple hotel with good room and facilities. Perfect for 1-2nights stay and worth the price. Staff at reception Marko was friendly and helpful with information and tips

Simple and friendly hotel, well located near the central station. The least positive thing was the bath towels, very thin and small.

Points positifs : Pratique car pas loin de l'aéroport (25 min à pied environ), même distance pour se rendre à la tour de Pise. Pas mal de magasins, de restos et snacks dans le coin. Personnel sympathique. Points négatifs : A notre arrivée le soir vers 19h30, porte close et après avoir sonné une dizaine de fois personne pour nous ouvrir. Personne à l'intérieur. Nous avons finalement appelé le numéro affiché sur la porte pour qu'on nous donne le code d'entrée et le numéro de chambre où la clé nous attendait. Il fallait le savoir ! Petit déjeuner pas très varié. Mais surtout aucune climatisation dans ma chambre un vrai four. Bien pour une nuit lors d'une arrivée ou d'un départ....

I ended up booking this last minute as our other booking fell through. We requested a cot for our daughter only to be told upon landing that there was no cot available! When I said that they should probably have informed us of this BEFORE we got on the flight, I got a reply saying ‘you can cancel if you want’. The room had 3 single beds in it, although we had booked a room with double bed (and cot) and so we ended up pushing them all together against the wall and putting the baby on the innermost bed! The hotel was very loud all night. The walls are paper thin. The next morning we were pleasantly surprised by the excellent water pressure in the showers. The hotel is also very well situated for the leaning tower as well as lots of restaurants and shops. It is also about 1 minute away from the train station which was ideal for us as we left to go to Cinque Terre. I think this hotel is tolerable if you’re only staying for one night in transit to somewhere else.

This was the worst hotel I've ever been in. From the front door to the bedroom it was dirty and dingy. The window of the door was dirty. I was no reception and the "manager" kept me waiting outside on a very busy street in very hot temperatures for a half hour to come and let me in. The whole place was shabby. The bedroom was so small I could touch both walls by stretching my arms out, the length of the room was just about a foot longer than the single bed. The air conditioning was more of a warm breath than cool breeze. The room reeked of dampness and mould and that chemical smell from heavy bug repellent. The toilets and shower were just as bad, not very clean and smelling of damp and decay. I stayed long enough to use the WiFi to find another hotel and got out of there as quick as I could. There being no lift so had to carry my heavy suitcase back down two flights of stairs to escape.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and we sincerely enjoyed it. It is an old building but the rooms have everything you need. Spacious bathroom, good beds, smart tv, fridge, kettle etc. We only had minimal contact with staff as this is a small hotel and thus staff is not available for the whole day, but the little contact we had, the staff was courteous and most helpful. the hotel lies in a very central part of Pisa with close proximity to airport and train station. The only thing one has to be aware of is that there is no lift so its usually one or two flights of stairs to one's room. All in all, very satisfied.
