The location had great views over the valley, including the early morning sea of cloud. The property has a rooftop lookout that our group could get together to enjoy the view. It helped that our taxi could drive through the narrow road of Mengben village and deposit us and our luggage on the doorstep of the homestay. This is unlike Wengji & Nuogang villages, where cars are not allowed to enter the village but deposit visitors at the village carpark. The hospitality of the owner/hostess was remarkable. She had a Pu'er tea table and made us endless cups of different tea all grown in her farm, explaining their differences and virtues. She did not charge us a cent for the whole experience. Neither did she try to hard sell the tea leaves although we did buy a small amount off her because we enjoyed the tea. She is a good cook and whipped up breakfast and lunch for us.

考慮到回程方便，在景邁最後一晚選擇了這家，觀景，非常好，老闆和老闆娘都很熱情，大堂的佈局很有品味，各種植物和擺設都讓人很放鬆舒適，隨便一張躺椅或沙發，都能慵懶地躺下欣賞窗外的美景，房間裏有很多小零食，泡澡浴缸，投影以及泡茶的茶台茶具，連茶葉老闆都貼心準備了。每間房間拉開窗簾就能看雲海，可惜我們到的那天雲海有些清淡，留着下次再去。

住完之後感覺是一家充滿驚喜和帶給我全新體驗的酒店。 酒店無論從外圍設計還是從內部的裝修設計都充滿了前衞感，酒店處在山頂位置，每間房間都可以做到足不出户就能擁有無敵景觀視野，從上往下看一覽無餘且無遮擋，也很幸運我們在辦理入住的時候酒店幫忙升級了房型，雖説路途有些顛簸和遙遠，但還是值得的。 體驗方面，首先需要達成共識的是“這不是城市酒店”住在這裏你一定可以非常近距離的感受到原始自然的氣息，你前方的視野就是一片片的稻田和村寨，你能聽到雞鳴和犬吠，晚上你也能看到一整片清晰的星空和感受到雲南特有的“昆蟲帝國”，這些都是住在一般酒店不會有的體驗，所以如果有機會的話非常推薦可以來感受下。 最後…還是希望加強下衞生方面，尤其是床品的洗護與乾燥的問題，還有些設施已經壞掉了，比如露台的門關不上，夜燈會常亮關不掉，mini吧的飲料太少，等一些小問題，感覺日常需要多加管理和監控下。

Really recommend staying here! We booked this hotel last minute, and were really happy with our stay! We were welcomed with delicious local tea. The hosts helped us rent an electric bike which was perfect for seeing the surrounding villages and ancient tea forests. They were very helpful since we don’t speak any Chinese, but this wasn’t a problem at all. The area is really beautiful and special and Jingmai is one of our favorite places in China so far. The room itself was spacious, new and very clean. Breakfast was delicious.

ในที่สุดฉันก็มาถึง Lao Dabao ฉันกําลังจะมาเมื่อปีที่แล้ว ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างเวลา ฉันสามารถไปได้โดยตรงในปีนี้ เจ้านายและเจ้าของใจดีมาก ผู้คนที่นี่ดีมาก ฉันชอบบรรยากาศนี้มาก แต่น่าเสียดายที่มันไม่ใช่เทศกาล ฉันไม่สามารถทันดูการแสดงของพวกเขา แต่, หมู่บ้านที่เงียบสงบทําให้ฉันรู้สึกสบาย

酒店裝修格調雅緻，居住環境安靜舒適，就算遇上雨天，房間不潮，也聽不到雜音。房間寬敞，床品柔軟舒服，酒店還主動給我們免費升級了房型。 工作人員王淼熱情周到，服務細緻貼心。帶我們體驗茶餅製作時，講解耐心又專業，專業能力沒得説。三樓四樓的觀景台足不出户就能觀賞雲海，風景一絕。早餐味道很不錯，晚上在庭院裏隨時可以坐下喝茶聊天。運氣好還能嚐到烤奶、南瓜子. 店裡氛圍特別融洽，同住的陌生人也能暢快閑聊，相處十分愉快。我們跟着採茶師傅採茶，師傅認真給我們辨認茶樹、細緻講解。 整趟行程輕鬆自在，這是一次滿分的入住體驗。

เจ้าของเรียบง่ายและกระตือรือร้น ราคาไม่ขึ้นมากเกินไปในช่วงวันหยุด ห้องพักสะอาด ถูกหลักอนามัย และที่จอดรถสะดวก นอกจากนี้ยังสะดวกมากที่จะไปภูเขา Jingmai ในเมือง Huimin เมื่อฉันตกของ ฉันโทรมาบอกฉัน แต่เราไปบ้านนาจากอีกทิศทาง พ่อของเจ้านายยังวาดแผนที่ทัวร์ภูเขา Jingmai ด้วย แนะนําร้านอาหารท้องถิ่นเล็กๆ ที่เราไปทาน รสชาติต้นตํารับ อร่อยมาก สั่งอาหารห้าจาน เช่น เนื้อวัว ขาหมู แค่ร้อยกว่าๆ ไม่ได้ถ่ายรูปห้อง มาทานอาหารเย็นและต้นชาสักสองสามจาน

Absolutely loved our stay! The room was newly renovated and had stunning mountain views, perfect for sunsets. The laoban sells amazing puer tea from their own trees. Great base for exploring Jingmai Mountain—buses are nearby or the staff can arrange rides. The highlight was a BBQ with other guests, complete with music, laughter, and delicious meats. A truly memorable experience!

設施：很不錯，訂到了新房間，超級大。床墊舒服，枕頭適中，睡得很好。衞生間也挺大的。 服務：老闆是當地人，去的時候幫忙拿行李，走的時候開車送我們到翁基公交站。一直請喝茶，很不錯。 環境：窗外很美，安靜，空氣超棒。

All the reviews are true, but it’s not the wooden building that causes it.  Yes, it is very loud and you hear everyone. We’ve stayed in other fully wooden places, it’s worse here. Maybe not the wood but the guests are the problem. Loud Chinese people, walking the stairs with the heaviest pace you can imagine. Maybe help the other guests by hanging some warnings on the stairs: please be mindful for the other guests when walking to your room.  Also loud Chinese tourist on the square below. Not only while eating they scream all over the place, also with the tea ceremony nobody asks them to please stop talking after 23:00/24:00. We were up till 02:00AM because of tea drinking Chinese people at the fire. We stayed in the suite, which is located above the fire pit. Maybe the other rooms are less noisy. At 7AM each morning, somebody ran down the stairs. We think it’s the staff. It wakes you up through your earplugs.  The staff is OK. They are very shy, not rude. They could be more pro active though as we didn’t feel like they wanted to do something.. which is different to rude but also not very friendly.  The other villages around are way bigger and less cozy than Wengji. Also, with this guesthouse being just next to the town, it was perfect to escape the tourists most of the time. We didn’t find other accommodations in Wengji with the same aesthetics as Shishi guesthouse so we can’t recommend other places better than this. Maybe if the guesthouse would invest in trying to keep the noise down under the various guests, with text signs or with clearer house rules (fire pit), the noise problem wouldn’t be as bad.  Maybe if they tried to enthusiast their staff more and keep them from watching Chinese drama shows on their phones all day, they would be a bit more welcoming.  We’ve met a lot of amazing people in Wengji, it’s definitely not the locals that have this behaviour.  Lastly, the suite has a cubicle bathroom in the room, they really don’t clean this well. It smells very bad and just feels dirty all over.  For comfort this place is too expensive, for the location and aesthetics you won’t find better options nearby.
