for some reason I was upgraded to a better room than the one I booked. It was perfect. Unasked for, I also received the quietest location in the hotel. My room was large, had microwave and kitchen. During Covid you never know what you're going to get, however I was very pleased with everything.

Close to Walmart and 7/11. Has bus option around walmart area. Quick walk to Skaha lake too. Free breakfast was great!

Upon arrival, we checked for bedbugs. We didn't find any but the bedsheets had visible stains on them, giving us the impression the sheets had not been changed before we arrived.
Also, check in time was supposed to be 4 pm, however we arrived at 430-445 and were informed our room still was ready yet. waited about 15-20 mins for it to be ready.
over the course of the next 48 hrs, we had a couple of maintenance people come to look at the TVs in our room. Constant issues with the Optik TV service.
While it was a nice large room with full kitchen and very good shower, It's definitely a dated hotel than needs updating.

Very good except for the continental breakfast. Many things were not fresh. Muffins were stale, fruit was old. The same over ripe bananas were on display two days in a row. The muffins were stale two days in a row. Not up to park.

It was very clean and staff were helpful breakfast was great, the only problem I had was the new rule of not getting in you room early without being charged $20 we arrived just after 3:00 after a long car ride come on best western customer service stop gauging people.

Stay was great. Breakfasts are incredible and they have a variety of dishes on the buffet, i.e. different eggs every day. Very nice and clean hotel. Staff were all very helpful and pleasant.
