I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to do this because we had such a good experience at this hotel and some of the recent negative reviews don’t make sense with that. The staff was really helpful during our stay—polite and accommodating. Thank you to Charles, Latoya, Shannon and the rest of the team. The room was renovated, modern and spotless (and I’ve stayed at many Marriott properties). The breakfast was plentiful and often replenished. Waffles, eggs, muffins, etc. The location was quiet but centrally located. It’s a great place for families or business professionals to stay. Renovations are almost completed, but any work being done did not affect us.
We spent three nights at the Beachliner Hotel over Thanksgiving, and it was a truly delightful experience. The place was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located—just a stone’s throw from the beach and two blocks from the town center with its charming shops and cafes. Bernadette, the host, was exceptionally helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. A highlight of the trip was the lovely free Thanksgiving dinner she provided for the guests. It was a wonderful gathering with great food, fun, and enjoyable company. We couldn’t have asked for a better Thanksgiving getaway and would definitely visit again. Highly recommend!
The room was clean. Check in was very easy. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was actually pretty good! I left something behind and I called when I got home. The front desk staff went up to look for it but it wasn’t there because the housekeeping staff already found it and was ready to send it back to me! I would totally stay here again!!
Great value for the money. Simple but clean rooms, plenty of towels for one person, very pleasant and helpful staff. Only 2 downsides; 1 minor, 1 major. Minor: the bed is comfortable, but you only get one blanket. So bring an extra, if that's your thing. Major: I saw a couple of cockroaches. I wasn't surprised, because previous reviews had mentioned them. They weren't everywhere, but still best not to leave any of your stuff on the floor. The irony is that the building was being power washed while I was there - maybe put some of that money into better insect control.
