Very helpful staff, great breakfast and quiet room which we had requested. Room very modern and clean, very nice shower and bathroom. Ticked all the boxes for us and would definitely return 😊

This accommodation was excellent. for us.It was situated in a tiny village with only one local pub, which was ideal for us. Cambridge is only 10miles away. The host was very friendly and welcoming. The Lodge was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. A nice touch was a plate of fairy cakes and a jar of cookies to welcome you. There was also a jug of milk in the fridge. The bed was sublime. Extremely soft and comfortable. I normally only manage 3-4 hours sleep daily, but on our two night stay i slept right through both nights. Breakfast was a full English delivered to our door, and it was delicious. I can't recommend this place and it's host highly enough. If I'm visiting the area again Thorn House will definitely be my first choice.

We stayed to start silver wedding anniversary celebration. We were going to a concert in Cambridge. The hotel nailed it. Beautiful, we were upgraded, and the room was stunning

My stay at Novotel Cambridge was extremely disappointing due to serious cleanliness issues. Upon checking into Room 205, I discovered visible blood stains on the duvet. This is not a minor oversight — it is a basic hygiene failure. Clean bedding is the absolute minimum standard any guest should expect. Finding blood stains immediately raised concerns about the room being properly cleaned and inspected. I reported the issue and was informed that the bedding had been cleaned again. However, when I returned to check, the stains were still there. This was both frustrating and alarming, as it suggested a lack of proper quality control within housekeeping. Only after escalating the matter was it properly addressed. Charlotte, the manager, eventually upgraded us to an executive room and provided complimentary breakfast, which I appreciate. However, this does not change the fact that the initial room condition was unacceptable and should never have happened in the first place. An upgrade is a service recovery gesture — it does not erase the hygiene concern or the distress caused at the start of our stay. I hope the hotel seriously reviews its cleaning procedures and room inspection standards to prevent future guests from experiencing the same issue. Unfortunately, based on cleanliness alone, I would not rate this stay highly.

My stay at this hotel was very disappointing. The air conditioning was not working, the paint in the room was peeling, and there was visible rust on the door hinges, which made the space feel poorly maintained. The most frustrating issue was the smoke detector going off with false alarms several times, including in the early morning. When I tried calling the front desk for assistance, no one answered, which added to the inconvenience. Overall, this experience did not meet the standard I expect from Holiday Inn. I hope the management takes steps to address these maintenance and service issues for future guests.

อาหารเช้า ปานกลางอยู่ในระดับปกติไม่มีอะไรพิเศษ ห้องเล็กเกินไปสําหรับราคานี้ที่พักห้องเล็กแบบนี้หายากจริงๆ มีเก้าอี้วางในห้องให้อีก 1 ตัว หาพนักงานเสิร์ฟให้ ดูจากรูปที่ติดไว้ที่ประตูเราพักห้องเล็กสุดของทั้งโรงแรม รู้สึกไม่มีความสุขจริงๆ

โดยรวมแล้วที่พักค่อนข้างดี ฉันพัก 1 คืนเพื่อความสะดวกในการไปเที่ยวเคมบริดจ์ โรงแรมอยู่ใกล้จุดพายเรือซึ่งสะดวกมาก สิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกในโรงแรมเก่าไปหน่อย ส้วมชักโครกใช้งานไม่ค่อยดี และพัดลมในห้องน้ำดังเกินไป แต่อย่างอื่นก็โอเค ห้องพักสะอาดและอาหารเช้าก็ดี มีอาหารเย็นๆ ไว้บริการ และยังสามารถสั่งอาหารจานร้อนได้ เช่น เบคอน ไส้กรอก ขนมปัง ไข่เจียว เป็นต้น

โรงแรมให้ความช่วยเหลือดีมากในการสอบถามเกี่ยวกับการเพิ่มลูกชายของฉัน เนื่องจากมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงที่พักในนาทีสุดท้าย ห้องพักตกแต่งอย่างพอเหมาะ ห้องออกกำลังกายเปิดตลอด 24 ชั่วโมง มีอุปกรณ์ออกกำลังกายให้เลือกมากมาย

ทำเลที่ตั้งค่อนข้างห่างไกล ใช้เวลาเดิน 50 นาทีจากสถานีรถไฟเคมบริดจ์ถึงโรงแรม ทางลัดต้องผ่านถนนแคบ ๆ ยาวประมาณ 200 เมตร โดยมีพื้นที่รกร้างล้อมรอบด้วยรั้วสูงทั้งสองด้าน ไม่มีสถานที่ท่องเที่ยว ซูเปอร์มาร์เก็ต หรือป้ายรถประจำทางอยู่ห่างจากที่พักโดยใช้เวลาเดินไม่เกิน 15 นาที ห้องพักมีขนาดใหญ่ สะอาด สบาย มีสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกครบครัน อาหารเช้าประกอบด้วยเบคอน ไข่คน ผลไม้ โยเกิร์ต ฯลฯ

While the hotel itself and rooms are fine. You have to pay extra for parking which is clearly just for capitalist gains as it’s on property. They advertise a pool (one of the main reasons we picked the hotel), which we were told on arrival has been closed for years, yet no thought to advertise this online was thought of? No instead they keep a picture of said swimming pool online when it would be a simple manner of taking one picture down to stop disappointment. They keep it up to attract visitors unfortunately. The water in the room for shower and bath simply did not go hot, but rather a low lukewarm. Breakfast also cost £15 which we opted not to do due to competition prices being so much lower for the same thing. Ultimately, it was a disappointing stay mainly due to their misinformation than the room itself.
