"Excellent choice! We had been in doubt if we would stay in the historical center or in that hotel that looks like a resort of such a beautiful 8 km from the city , by Rio-Santos . We couldn't have chosen better. Paradise Hotel! The hotel has a very efficient and gentle service and a wonderful food. The rooms are large, well decorated, excellent bed linen, amenities of nature, excellent air conditioning! The view of the room was a spectacular. Da non perdere! "The worst stay of my life. Dirty, moldy rooms, no bedding, leaks, rude and impolite attendant, yelling at a guest (me) when I complained about the poor facilities. The shower faucet was sealed with duct tape, and the bathroom drain in the upper apartment was discharging water into the apartment where I was staying. Breakfast was swarming with ants and flies, and the dining room chairs were wobbly and broken. The hot tub was filthy. The mirror was moldy..."

The location is also perfect with a view over the river and a very short walking distance to the main street and colonial center. The only reason why I am not giving 5 stars is the cleanliness. I didn't feel like the bathrooms and beds were clean. Still would highly recommend"
