"Atlantica Golden Beach We are regular users of the Atlantica Hotels and Tui hotels in Cyprus for about 15 years. This is the second year at Atlantica Golden Beach hotel. Stayed here 28th June 26 to 8th July 26. Met on arrival a by an older male who was there last year, his usual speech down to a patter for each new arrival. We were lucky to have the same room as last year after emailing the hotel directly weeks prior to our arrival. Due to the late evening arrival we were given the packed lunch bag with a pack of Cheese & Ham sandwiches , crisps and apples , a nice gesture but the sandwiches started to go hard , after a long journey a small warm meal would have been better like we’ve had at a few hotels we previously stayed at which is a good standard, the only downside is a lack of electrical sockets near the bedside table so we had to charge our phones etc by the TV. The cleaning staff were good throughout our stay , Remember to press the button by the door to illuminate Red in the corridor if you don’t require the room cleaned. The reception staff were great , polite and courteous our whole stay. They also sorted out the late check out room. Nikki at the Guest Experience desk opposite reception is a wealth of knowledge of Cyprus and in my opinion under used by the Atlantica hotel. Some Reception staff struggle to give the guests the full info on excursions available, not informing them of driving licence requirements for vehicle rentals and extra charges made at some events and locations, due to their lack of knowledge. AVGERINOS and his staff at the main restaraunt were great again this year. Sadly I felt the selection of food available wasn’t the same standard has last year plus the selection of food seemed to be a lot more Pork this year, perhaps trying to lower costs. I found they seemed to run out of breakfast food like fried eggs and seemed slow to react to refill quickly, one morning at 0850 they had no bread rolls available in the bread baskets, the chef was informed and bread rolls were still not available 20 minutes later, only sliced brown bread was available. I know it’s a busy restaraunt but they should be on top of refilling food trays before depletion. The water cooler machine at the restaraunt patio are wasn’t very cool after somebody else filled their ninja type water cooler canisters, I did see a few people using pre used bottles under the fillers although told this was not allowed. Please visit the patio area and order drinks from the amazing Nicolleta and her fellow staff, she made our holiday feel special this year again. They have removed free bar snacks and small plates of crisps this year but you can pay €1.50 for a small packet of crisps at the bars. We purchased 10 packs of Lays cheese and onion from the Paphos Mall shop for €6.50. The little things like this sometimes makes or breaks a holiday. The pool bar staff were excellent , Nikita , Maria, Zoltan , Dawa and the other lad were very hard working and"

"We have just returned from our week trip. Hotel is nice and the staff are fantastic. We did have a few hiccups with rooms and my sister and brother in law room and swim up but that did get sorted Food was good we tried as well as buffet the Mediterranean, Italian and burger bar all very nice. And we did do a few meals out. We mainly used smaller activity pool as was perfect for my niece and nephew as main pool gets quite crowded and sun loungers reserved. Shout out to entertainment team who where brilliant also. We stayed in sister resort in mare Aya Napa last year and felt that was a little better. But staff in this hotel are what make it."

"We got married here in April, we arrived late on the Saturday night and had sandwiches left in our room for us (we were all inclusive), with a lovely note welcoming us and congratulating us on our upcoming wedding. The staff were amazing from the minute we arrived, to the minute we left. the location is beautiful - this was the main reason we booked here as our wedding venue. The Wifi worked perfectly for us here and the noise level was at a normal level - the only time there was slight noise, was when there was a wedding on, however this did not seem to bother other guests or ourselves. Our room was very clean and on the morning of our wedding there were 13 people in there getting ready and there was enough room for all of us. The Atmosphere was lovely around the pool, in the restaurant and the pool bar - we didn't go to the evening entertainment as we had a 5 year old with us. The value for money was amazing - nothing was too much of a problem for a single member of staff that we met. Elena was amazing on the day of our wedding, even though we booked through Cyprus Dream Weddings, Elena was still with us throughout the whole ceremony and everything ran so smoothly! We can't thank you, Alex and the rest of the team for ensuring our big day went so smoothly. We will definitely return back to Kefalos Beach!"

"Nice hotel on the Paphos beach promenade. The hotel is a lovely 4-star establishment with all necessary amenities. The pool is clean, with warm water and plenty of sunbeds on the grass. Some sunbeds should be change for new ones. Pool towels can be exchanged anytime from 10 AM until the end of the day. Breakfast is fresh, offering a variety of food for everyone. The room is spacious with a good-sized balcony; the bathroom is new with a walk-in shower. While the furniture is a bit dated, everything functions well, including the TV, in-room safe, and various lighting options. The mattress feels new and is comfortable. The cleaning team is doing a great work in rooms a public facilities. The pool bar is always open with staff ready to serve. The check-in counter is helpful with any issues; they assisted me with my safe when I entered the wrong code. For late checkout, you can use the pool and the spa/gym area to shower before your flight."

"I was lucky enough that the hotel I had in mind was fully booked and as a makeshift I chose this property following the reviews on "tripadvisor", booking on Sunday for Monday on "booking", as the hotel website he didn't give any answers (the only negative note). Excellent choice: located a few hundred meters from the entrance to the port promenade, the center of the nightlife, and from the beach; brand new, very clean, water and wine offered in the room, equipped with minibar, air conditioning (also needed in Cyprus in October), flat-screen TV (which I wasn't able to use), bathroom with excellent shower but unfortunately without bidet. Small outdoor swimming pool and relaxation area; I did not take advantage of the breakfast which is however aimed at satisfying British customers and for us accustomed to coffee and croissant it is uneconomical and distant from our habits (eggs, bacon etc.). Arturo added value for his courtesy and availability, he also checked me in online for the return flight, understanding us with gestures because everyone speaks exclusively English."

"This was honestly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. From the moment I checked in, there was not a single night where I could sleep properly. The room was an old-style connecting room with a locked door in the middle, but the soundproofing was basically non-existent. It honestly felt like the person next door was sleeping in the same room as me. I could hear them snoring clearly, let alone talking on the phone or watching videos. It was a disaster. The soundproofing towards the corridor was just as bad. At night, drunk guests were shouting in the hallway at 1 or 2 a.m., and it felt like they were shouting right next to my ear. On top of that, the hotel had karaoke every night, usually starting around 8 or 9 p.m. If you were lucky, it ended around 11:30 p.m.; if not, who knows. My room faced that side, so I had to listen to loud shouting and singing all night. Even with AirPods noise cancellation on, there was still a very loud vibrating bass sound. It was basically impossible to rest. The only positive thing I can say is that the receptionist on the first night was very friendly. Other than that, I had no good impression of this hotel at all. I would absolutely not recommend staying here."

I must mention that the hotel service is at the highest level and is very kind and helpful. The food is also very high quality. I can recommend it with complete confidence!"
