This facility is usually one of the better CS hotels in the chain. Easy acces from Interstate, nearby resturants, pizza delivery availble, close to Ole MS univ so some weekends during football season difficult, but clean, safe, quiet, etc. Serious Issue: Deadbol lock rm 226 inop. Bolt mechanism in door does not align with strike plate in jam. Told front desk at departure, but didn't seem concerned. This is a serious issue. -2stars. This hotel is generally a 5-Star facility.

An Unpleasant Night: 1 Star for this hotel. Our arrival after a lengthy 10-hour drive turned into a nightmare. The non-smoking room we specifically reserved smelled of smoke, hitting us before even entering. The first room was a disaster – not only did it carry the odor of wet carpet and stale cigarette smoke, but it also displayed a shocking level of neglect. Hair, dirt, and crumbs littered the bed, sheets, and pillows, as if cleanliness was a foreign concept. When we went downstairs we learned that the hotel staff preferred not placing guests on the third floor due to similar problems – a fact conveniently overlooked during our check-in. The request for a new room resulted in one that, while lacking a smoke smell, was far from clean. The bed sheets appeared tidy, but the comforter revealed a different story with dried marks and questionable stains. The bed skirt, an apparent stranger to washing machines, was downright repulsive. It was a night of compromises – bringing in only the essentials, using personal pillows, keeping socks on at all times, and a carefully orchestrated shower routine involving placing towels strategically around the drain to create a barrier between the shower floor and our bare feet - due to the questionable cleanliness of the bathroom. Sleeping was a challenge, layered in pants and a long-sleeved shirt for warmth since only the sheets seemed remotely clean. All this, combined with the staff's comments about not wanting to put people on the third floor and our need to hit the road again early the next morning, made this stay a regrettable experience. Save your money, your time, and your sanity – steer clear of this hotel at all costs!

The hotel is easily accessible from the interstate and its quiet as well. The check in was smooth and easy. The room smelled clean. The bed was comfortable. On the downside, the shower had mildew in the grout and when we went to breakfast at 7:30am, it was slim pickings.

Very nice room. Clean. Comfortable bed. Separate sitting area. Great bathroom and shower. Friendly and accommodating staff. Good breakfast and good coffee. A lot of parking. I would definitely stay here again.

No other choice near Clarksdale, so we used points- besides the JJF, there was a baseball series going on-Needs updating and a good through cleaning- from inside to outside. Nice front desk people- Free breakfast.

Bed bugs Room 210, daughter bit had allergic reaction, notified front desk, owner, and general manager. As of yet no response from ChoiceHotels. My daughter has permanent scars!! This is not acceptable.

We stayed here for 2 nights after being displaced from the Home2 next door that had no hot water. Very convenient to have this next door, but it was not the same quality. We had a spacious 2 queen beds. It was not the cleanest and needed updating. For example, the shower grout was “pink” in many places which is indicative of the beginnings of mold. The 42” TV was not large enough to be viewed from both the sitting and sleeping area. The couch was very dated and the decor was oddly placed. Breakfast was underwhelming. Saran wrapped pre-made omelets and Saran wrapped sausages. Belgian waffles, Cheerios and breads. Make your own grits. No fresh fruit, gravy and on the second day, they ran out of food by 7:45am. They worked to get more food out fast which resulted in cold omelets, so everyone microwaved them. Residents must pay a $250 deposit, which didn’t affect us, but I could see where that could lead to confusion. Positives: there was an indoor pool and small fitness area. The lobby was spacious and clean.
