The Ace Hotel & Swim Club is a modern desert oasis with 2 deep pools, a spa, a gym and close to downtown Palm Springs. I enjoyed my Ace Suite with King bed, upscale living area with vintage furniture like a steamer trunk, guitar, record player and more. There was a private patio, fireplace and bath with a shower & tub. I relished the meals at the onsite Kings Highway (modern roadside diner) especially the Belgian waffles and breakfast burritos. The Feel Good Spa offers guest a laid-back massage and other spa treatments. I opted for the Deep Goodness Bodywork treatment to alleviate my tension and soreness. So, if you are looking for a hotel with a desert chic, natural hot springs and a mountain backdrop............then try the ..........Ace Hotel & Swim Club..............a resort framed by a mountain backdrop and modern homes.
ฉันได้รับการนวดจาก Jessica และเธอทําได้น่าทึ่งมาก! The St. Somewhere Spa เป็นสถานที่ที่สวยและสะอาดมาก พนักงานทุกคนเป็นมิตรและช่วยเหลือดีมาก ฉันขอแนะนําสปานี้!
Average experience. The hotel is about 3km from the centre of Palm Springs, but conveniently located to a sex shop across the road. The staff are very friendly, zero complaint there. But the hotel has ‘rules’ - from the US$250 security deposit in case of ‘damages’ through to the threatened US$300 charge if you want to connect a HDMI cable to the TV. It’s not the way to treat valued guests. I saw much written about ‘fire pits’ before I came and I was quite attracted to that - but pire pits came there none. Won’t be returning.

This was my second visit to the Del Marcos. First trip was back in 2021 and I can say that he quality of the property has gone down hill since 2021. There is wear and tear on many surfaces. Lots of paint touch up needed and many pieces of furniture need to be repaired or replaced. The pool loungers are in DESPERATE need of replacement. Some of them fell through while we were laying on them and they are very sun bleached. The bedding in our room felt old and or cheap. Pillows were the saddest pillows I've ever used. There was no working overhead light or fan in our bathroom, so they put a standing lamp in there. Just felt cheap. The included breakfast feels like they really lowered the quality as well. Still decent but a bit disappointing for the pricepoint of this hotel. The hotel itself is such an iconic space but it is being left in disrepair which is really sad. Back in 2021, it was probably one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at, and while this time, we still had a really nice time and enjoyed the space, I felt like the price point no longer matches the quality. I do not splurge very often on pricey nice hotels like this so it was a bit disappointing. The staff were all so friendly and wonderful.
ผผู้เข้าพักCompared to most of the Hotels in Palm Springs, L3 only charges a small fortune, which is why we chose it. It was originally a Motel and has had a reasonable make over. We had a room middle of the block overlooking the car park equal distance from two roads. It may have be nice to have a room overlooking the Pool Area, but this may get noisy when the Hotel is Busy. The Rooms themselves have had a make over and are OK, the problem is that there is not air movement, you cannot open the window, if you leave the door open the alarm goes off, so you either have to leave the Aircon fan on, not to noisy or turn the aircon on which was noisy, WiFi is rubbish, I ended up purchasing an Unlimited Data Sim from Walmart which work very well and is actually cheaper than L3's WiFi charge ! There is no lift access to Level 2, maid service is only if you ask for it and not daily. Room Layout is OK, the Toilet & Bath/Shower have their own room with a door, but the Wash Basin, Mirror is next to the Bathroom in the bedroom, annoying at times. Parking is Free but really don't understand why there is a daily charge for use of the pool and crap WiFi !! Palm Springs Cable / Tramway up the mount is fun, Ricks for Breakfast is great, classic US Dinner, Boozehounds next door is a great Bar and Restaurant and Bill Reed's just down the road is fun, huge restaurant and menu, no outdoor area.
The rooms were very basic. No frig. No microwave. No coffeemaker. No shampoo. Only one hard chair. But, for the most part they were clean although the bed had a noticeable dip in it and our sink faucet was super loose. They were in the middle of repaving the parking lot when were there and we had to move our car to the side where there were homeless people near the parking area which was a little disconcerting at far as security. Despite it's faults, we had a decent night's sleep with little road noise and the price was more reasonable than we found anywhere else in the area. All of the staff we encountered were so friendly and helpful. The gentleman that checked us in, was engaging and claimed I looked like Reba McEntire. Lol. He also stopped us in the parking lot to recommend the margaritas at the local Mexican restaurant. When I checked out in the morning, Jeff asked how our stay had been and made me smile when I turned to leave and he said ”We'll leave the light on for you!” After checking out we realized we needed a key card to access the ice machine for our small cooler. Without hesitation, Jeff offered to make my husband a new key card to accommodate our needs. We were super impressed with the customer service which has not been our experience at most budget motels. If we were staying in the area longer we would probably opt for a motel with more amenities and creature comforts, but for one night, it met our needs and we would stay here again.
