The breakfast at this hotel is simply outstanding, providing a delightful start to each day of my stay. The wide variety of dishes catered to all dietary needs and preferences, ensuring that every guest found something to enjoy. From freshly baked pastries to omelettes and a selection of coffees, the breakfast spread was a true culinary delight. The impeccable service provided by the attentive and friendly receptionists ( especially Davide) added an extra touch of warmth to my mornings. They greeted guests with genuine smiles, promptly seating them and ensuring that their dining experience exceeded expectations. The receptionist's attentiveness to detail and willingness to accommodate special requests truly made me feel like a valued guest.
There was no welcome when we arrived neither were we asked how our stay was at the end. In fact we found the reception quite standoffish apart from a young man (see below) The hotel is tired, we booked a mid range room. A lot of the room was a corridor so completely wasted space. The rollers in the shower screen had come out of the guide, the toilet was constantly running water and there was a strange mark on the toilet seat and the bathroom fittings were definitely not four star standard. We were given one complimentary bottle of water between two of us and one extra pillow between of us for a two night stay. None of the bathroom lotions were replenished after the first night. Everything seemed to have an extra price attached to it which has been complimentary in similar hotels My husband was feeling very ill and asked if he could have a glass of tap water at the bar and was refused. He was told he had to pay for water. (The previous hotel gave a glass of tap water with every drink at the bar so it wouldn’t have been an unreasonable request) Whilst we were in our room at 9am on a Saturday morning there was loud intermittent power drilling in the hotel on and off for about an hour. We felt this was a totally inappropriate time to be doing that sort of work then. There was one positive point,a young man on the desk was very helpful when we asked for directions to the nearest pharmacy. We loved Padova and would highly recommend a stay there just not at this hotel
We chose this hotel due its very close proximity to the main train station. The hotel looks like a new build inside an old building. Our room was fairly large with a good sized modern bathroom. The shower stall though was small. The bathroom had a full complement of amenities such as soap bars and shampoo. Breakfast was very good with much choice. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. This hotel is located, as was mentioned earlier, minutes from the main train station. It took us about 20 to 25 minutes walking to the old city, 1 hour to the main park and Saint Anthony’s. The tram runs right up in front of the hotel. It is near many restaurants and coffee shops. We highly recommend this hotel.
Stay in the beautiful heart of Padua city centre, with countless shops, restaurants, and medieval sights a 10-minute walk from our doors. We're less than two kilometers from the University of Padua, Scrovegni Chapel, and the Basilica of St. Anthony. Our hotel offers sunlit meeting space, a 24-hour fitness center, and on-site laundry facilities.

I have rarely stayed in such a large room with such unsatisfactory design and contents. Even a basic budget hotel always has a place to stand a suitcase effectively. If a safe is provided,it will always be large enough to hold a camera.Window cills do not have over a one inch gap from the wall ,so admitting unwanted light. Apart from the total omissions, there were a couple of really slovenly management failings. The builders’ red plastic packing wedges between floor and wall fittings were still in place. The bidet was emitting a strong drain smell, as the trap seemed to have dried out through disuse by the occupants , and the housekeeper had failed to run any water through. The things I merely thought very poor for a four star hotel were numerous-the inappropriateness for a hot climate of the giant duvets and clinging soft topped mattresses, the lack of any work space( only “ desk” was occupied by ridiculous flashy kettle),poor bedside tables, and the bathroom - huge, but no bath. The reception staff were not very bright, and gave me a “map” with an incorrect street name at the hotel location! The breakfast had nothing in common with the attributes of the room- just a standard “ International” type with no failures. I am at present in an “Ibis” hotel somewhere even hotter than Padova. It is superior in every way ,except that it fails to look flashy. They even have a map.
Very friendly staff at this family run hotel. Exceptionally clean. Large airy bedroom. No tea/coffee in the bedroom, which seems to be the norm in Italy. The hairdryer is good. Only a shower in the bathroom, which would ordinarily be ok on holiday, but when waking 10 miles a day, a bath at the end of the day would have been great. The bed is nice and firm, but the pillows are like stones, but again, after so much fun in the day, I could have slept standing up. It’s a five minute walk from the station, so perfect for travelling to different areas, and the trains are clean and frequent. Also ideal for transferring to/from the airport as the bus station is there too. A basic continental breakfast, which was sufficient but not exceptional. Dinner also was sufficient, but the restaurant doesn’t have much ambiance. Our waitress was super lovely (I think called Anna) and we enjoyed chatting with her greatly. There is only one plug point in the bedroom and it only works when the lights are on, so if you need to charge more than one phone etc, take a multi plug. Overall we were really happy, will definitely stay here again, and would recommend others to.
This is one of the nicest places we stayed in Italy but it had one extreme problem...they turn off the air conditioning in ALL the rooms Oct 1st. We stayed mid October. Our room got to 30 celcius (86 degrees f) and they couldnt turn on the air. We were told it was winter time and the air is off and cannot be turned on. I couldnt sleep so I opened the window only to have to kill many many flying bugs. The bugs just keep flying in. I had to close the window and endoure the heat. I was part of a group and EVERYONE (at least 15 couples) complained about the heat, but the employees couldnt do anything about it. Traveler beware...after Oct 1st, if its hot, your going to cook in these rooms.
I just arrived for the first time at this lovely hotel. I was greeted warmly with a smile by Andrea and offered a choice of two different rooms. Tomaso brought everything up before I could blink and deposited it in my room. Upon learning I needed something to keep from falling in the bath he immediately brought not one but two bath mats. The dinner was abundant and so flavorful. The choice of salads alone would have sufficed but as there were four courses I dutifully had each one! The sea bream was fresh and heavenly, served with attentive care by Alice. What I also noticed is that the restaurant was full of mostly Italians. Its always a good sign when there are a lot of local guests. Everyone looked happy and comfortable. And this is still low season! In the morning I met the lovely Samanta, with whom I had corresponded to book the room. She is smiling, knowledgeable and speaks a beautiful English. I asked to have a pool view room and she worked very hard to accommodate me. Then I met Victoria, the lovely Spa coordinator, who listened to me explain in my not so perfect Italian about all my aches and pains. She then introduced Maximilian, who is so knowledgeable about the body I immediately knew he would be the best massage therapist. Then suddenly it was time for lunch, with more gorgeous salads, and eggplant parmesan served with flourish by the handsome young waiter. I haven't yet used the pool, but it must be like everything else in the Hotel Antoniano: Warm, inviting, and caressing you with a gentle welcome. Come and be welcome. You won't regret it.

5 Stars isn’t quite enough! This is a breathtakingly beautiful hotel. Filled with a tremendously talented and dedicated team who treat you like family and aren’t satisfied until they have knocked your socks off:) From the moment you pull up outside until you turn in your keys and bid arrivederci to the AMAZING team at the Abano Ritz Terme, be prepared to be blown away at every opportunity. The ambiance is sophisticated and serene. The pool and the grounds are opulent and oh so soothing. The spa team- ok I’m out of adjectives. Suffice to say I felt pampered. I felt valued as a guest (which unfortunately does not happen as much these days as if used too.) The food?!? OMG THE FOOD!!! Exquisite!!! I lived learning about the mineral springs and deposits at the base of the Eugenian Hills. My body and soul were recharged and I was so surprised! I’ve been told that one needs a full week for the mudpacks to do their thing completely. In just a few days my aches and joint pain disappeared. Would love to spend more time in the unbelievable swimming pool there. My husband and I are already planning out next visit- which will be a full 7 days (at minimum). Do yourself a huge favor- reserve a week at the spa and be prepared to be dazzled ❤️⭐️💝
ผผู้เข้าพัก Merita veramente!
Great place for the money. Loved the restaurant at Giorgio, they make exceptional pizza. We spent all the time in the gym and later in the pool, where we met two great tip-tap-toe dancers from Frosinone. The only problem was that the neighbouring room complained for the banging at 3 am. But that was our fault, we admit, and we’re deeply sorry. Padova (Padua) is an amazing city, full of things, but a bit over the place. The main sight we suggest is the “Ponte de quatro martiri” where you can enjoy the sunset and the spiders hanging around. Also we suggest a day to Legnaro, the only thing is to beware incoming thunderstorms. The best thing about Padua though is the bus system, which is free and always on time. I’ve forgot to mention the beautiful Capela di Scovregni, where you can admire the masterpieces by Lionardo and Rafaello. We would also like to thank the staff for their exceptional service, summed by the motto: “NO”, which they told meant “of course”. The only complaint was when we asked for the access to the meeting room, to which they replied: “…cuesti a un cost”, which made us realise how tough life is for everyone
While traveling through northern Italy we stayed one night in this property. It is in easy walking distance to the Basilica of St. Anthony and short walk to the piazzas in the center of Padova or close stroll to a tram stop. Parking can be a bit of a challenge - the public parking in front of the hotel can be a bit expensive, but the hotel also has parking nearby for a lower price - see the clerk at check in. The rooms are not large, but they are clean and comfortable with no frills. The shower has good pressure, but the temperature tended to vary. The breakfast is not fancy, but a typical Italian breakfast. The staff are very helpful and accommodating.
ผผู้เข้าพักThe Hotel Europa is only a ten or twelve minute walk from the Padova railway station and is easy to find. The hotel is also only about a ten minute walk to the centre of the old town, with historical sites and shopping, restaurants and bars all being fairly close. Check-in was easy and despite being early by about twenty minutes, the receptionist gave me a room. A double room, it had an independent air-conditioning unit, a safe (which was unfortunately locked when I arrived), plenty plug points, a fridge with two bottles of water and a bathroom with very basic toiletries. The internet wifi worked alright. Rather strangely for a 4 star hotel however, there was no coffee machine/kettle in the room with instant coffee/tea etc. The room was clean and although not luxurious was comfortable enough. Breakfast was of the usual continental style but with the addition of bacon and scrambled or boiled eggs. A few rolls, breads, croissants, pastries, tarts as well as cold meat, cheese, yoghurt, choice of cereals, fruit juice and some fresh fruit. Sounds like a lot, but compared with other hotel breakfast buffets, it was actually quite meagre. No self-service coffee machine (probably a good thing!) but you could ask the staff for a cappucini or whatever. They didn’t actively ask if you wanted a coffee; you had to approach and ask them. Likewise when first entering the restaurant there was no ‘buongiorno” or “good morning”, just a rather sour faced woman asking for your room number. I did ask the receptionist if the safe in my room could be opened so as I could use it and was promised that somebody would come later to fix it but they never did. However having lost my phone charger, I also asked if I could borrow one and the receptionist went into a drawer and gave me one to use. Check-out was quick with another cheery guy at reception. Overall, a bit of a hit or a miss type of place. The receptionists were fine (other than not following up on my request regarding the room safe) but the attitude of the breakfast staff leaves a lot to be desired and I can’t understand a 4 star hotel not having a kettle in the room. At best an average hotel which seemed to me to be more of a 3 than a 4 star. I’ve actually stayed in several better 3 star hotels in Italy than this place. Significantly better!
