"We booked directly via phone, spoke to Tabatha. We requested a deluxe One Bedroom Apartment. Tabatha recommended booking us into a room which provided a view. I booked two nights.The room we were presented with was located within the undercover car park. Both the bedroom and the kitchenette had highlight windows only, which looked directly into the undercover carpark. The only view to the outside was a glass sliding door, which led to the side of the building, looking onto a three-metre-high fence. The accommodation was dark & cold, without much natural light. Reception hours seem to be indicative as the door was locked & lights off. I attended reception just after 5pm, the sign at the door states they close at 5:30pm, whereas the website states 6:00pm. Two early morning false fire alarms, necessitated evacuations by hotel guests each time. No communication came from reception. We left that morning, one day earlier than booked without receiving a refund. I am very, very disappointed with the management of Amica apartments, the unreliability of the comments/information from the reception staff and the quality of the accommodation."
