"was a little dubious about the hotel when I walked in as the lobby area looked very "unfinished" However I needn't have worried, it was part of the "look". The bedroom was excellent and the shared facilities top class.  As it's above the bar don't be surprised if there is some noise from downstairs and if you look out over the veranda expect to hear noise from the kitchen which is on the veranda! Having tried the bar food and range of beers I can thoughrly recommend both. Pity they don't do breakfast but there are a couple of excellent coffee shops in walking distance.  "

"This Mercure hotel lives up to its 4-star standard; the room wasn't huge but it was clean and comfortable. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the shopping street and plenty of restaurant options. Breakfast was good, with dishes made to order, which was a nice touch! The only thing that needs improvement is the dust and cobwebs on the windowsill in the room, it definitely needs a good cleaning."

"Fair price. The location was pretty good, close to the shopping centre, opposite is the park you can just walk through. The only thing was the soundproof need to improve, we got the room nearby the stairs, you can easily to hear the sound of footsteps coming down/up the stairs, people talking loudly."
