"Very good"

"The proprietor did tell me it was an attic room and very small and had a shared bathroom. The price (£45 cash), reflected the size. Given the lack of rooms in Oban at the time I took it. While I was prepared for a small room I wasn’t happy with the state of the room, it was in general disrepair and in some parts filthy (see photos). It was no bigger than a closet with hardly any headroom."

"Room very small black marks on the walls and dirty generally black mould on bed toe nails on the carpet stains all over it sink in the room is dirty along with the kettle the full room is shocking don’t think the carpet has ever been hoovered or the light shades dusted"

Palace Hotel - Small Hotel

"Wowee! Best Afternoon Tea ever. Far from traditional and so full of taste. From open steak sandwiches to light-as-a-feather yam sponge cake. And a fantastic selection of teas from English Breakfast to Piña Colada. All presented in an enchanted forest tearoom setting with impeccable service. Highly recommended."
