We booked a twin room, but at check-in, the front desk initially gave us a key card for a double bed room. The staff was polite and quickly helped us switch to the correct room type. However, the bathroom faucet had an issue—it sprayed water in two streams, which made it a bit inconvenient to use. Overall, the staff was friendly, but the room had some minor issues.

Located next to the Nottingham railway station, clean facilities, and a nice enough room. However, the bathroom was quite dated, with the hand towel bizarrely located next to the toilet (instead of the sink at the opposite corner), and lower than expected shower pressure. The television was placed at the side of the room (so, perpendicular to the sightline from bed), and you’d need to pay for toothbrushes and other amenities (at a premium rate) that are provided for free upon request at other hotels. There also don’t seem to be enough lifts — we had to wait some time as people were checking out.
Staff were friendly enough, and this was one of the more affordable options that evening. Would only recommend if there’s a discount (don’t expect a premium offering, and you’ll be fine).
Was lucky to be the first to stay in one of the rooms in the new wing.
Very clean and comfortable with all new furnishings and new 55 inch tv
Unfortunately, I was only booked in for the one night; arrived late and left early. Overall a short but pleasant stay. Would book again in future if visiting Nottingham.
I don’t know how this hotel manages to get four stars. The room felt damp, as did the bed. Condensation meant I could not see out of the window. I was given an upgraded room and I would not have liked to see the original room because the one I was allocated was poky. There was nowhere to sit and relax, not that I want to relax there it as so awful. I was in Nottingham on business and I have travelled quite bit for business over the years. I can honestly say that this was the second worst experience of my life. The staff without question were excellent. It is the overall management of the operation that is a huge problem. The pictures bear absolutely no resemblance to my experience. If I had to sum it up in three words I would say, utterly dreary and dreadful. There was a sliver of light when I checked out the following morning, and that was in the knowledge I would never, ever be going back.
ผผู้เข้าพักI travel all over the country for football away days and stay in most towns for long trips or midweek games. I've been to Nottingham many times but never stayed here. Had no idea there was such a nice hotel literally on the station. It's one of the best independent hotels I've ever been to. Lovely staff, small hotel with only 12 rooms but all large, cosy and very clean. Slept really well even though I had an early train. Really nice bar lounge full of armchairs and vintage nik naks and decorations and drinks very well priced. Pleasantly surprised and will stay again if ever in Nottingham. Location is perfect.
Needed an overnight stop for a nearby business trip. Found this via a third party site and it was very reasonably priced. It ticked my boxes and looked good, so thought I would give it a try. Found the premises ok from the road, but it is set back and I nearly drove past. I was met as I checked in and shown to my room where everything was explained to me. The room was clean and warm (it was cold out), also nicely decorated and felt very homely. The bathroom was clean and also modern. The wifi was good enough to stream and the well equipped fitness room was used by myself. The bed was comfy and I had a good nights sleep. The self service breakfast room was well equipped with hot drinks, juice, bread, cereal and eggs. The only negatives from my stay are ther thin walls, meaning I could hear my neighbour on his phone throughout the evening (but no noise overnight) and my bathroom light was motion activated, plunging me into darkness whilst in the shower. It was only the next morning when I saw the vanity light above the bathroom sink! All in all a really good stay and I would definitely stay here again when in the area.
